    UNITED STATES JUDICIAL PANEL ON MULTIDISTRICT LITIGATION

    NOTICE OF ORAL ARGUMENT SCHEDULE

    JANUARY 26, 2012, HEARING SESSION

    MIAMI, FLORIDA

    Miami Courthouse Advisory: Any attorneys who need to bring in a laptop, cell phone, or electronic

    equipment of any kind should email [email protected] no later than one week

    prior to the hearing date. Please ensure the email contains the name of the attorney(s) and the type

    of electronic equipment they will be bringing into the Courthouse. If the US Marshals Service does

    not receive this information in advance of the hearing, the attorney(s) will not be permitted to enter

    the Courthouse with their equipment until the necessary clearance is obtained. Attorneys who are

    members of the Florida Bar are permitted to bring electronic equipment into the Courthouse upon

    presentation of their Florida Bar card. Please note, members of the public, including non-

    attorney parties, are not permitted to bring in electronic equipment of any kind absent a Court

    order. The Southern District of Floridas policy for Cell Phones, Electronic Devices and

    Transmissions in Courthouses can be downloaded at http://www.flsd.uscourts.gov/?page_id=123.

    Oral argument time allocation will commence at 8:00 a.m.: All counsel who have filed a notice of

    presentation of oral argument and plan to present argument must be present at 8:00 a.m. in order

    for the Panel to allocate the amount of time for argument in each docket.

    Prior to the hearing session, counsel shall confer for the purpose of organizing their arguments and

    selecting representatives to present all views without duplication. Oral argument is a means for

    counsel to emphasize the key points of their arguments, and to update the Panel on any events since

    the conclusion of briefing. See Panel Rule 11.1(e).

    The Panel expects counsel to adhere to the positions expressed in their briefs. Any change inposition (including concerning an appropriate transferee district) should be communicated to Panel

    staff when argument times are allocated.
