Your child is introduced to the six key values of
Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Integrity, Care
and Harmony, and is encouraged to live by these
values in his/her actions.
The school’s values of Team Spirit, Graciousness,
Perseverance & Self-Discipline are also introduced
through various platforms; FTGP, Assembly Talks, CCE
lessons, Values in Action, TGPS Courtesy, School Rules

� Visit the library, help your child select books, read with
your child
� Activate your child’s interest in learning English –
relate to everyday life – experiences via reading
newspapers/watching the news/reading posters, etc
� Encourage by asking questions especially after reading
a book or watching a movie. Always supplement your
question with ‘why’ so that you encourage your child

Written Homework (To Reinforce Learning)
• The teachers will give the necessary work to
be done at home
• On days when your child has
enrichment/remedial lessons, there will be
minimal homework, if not none at all.
School Homework policy• If your child is suddenly not well in school,
his/her Form Teacher or the General Office
will call parents.
• Your child will not be allowed to go home
alone.
• A dismissal form needs to be signed by
parent/guardian who is picking up the unwell
child.
