But, what do we feel for wild apes, in particular Orangutans? They are amongst our closest genetic relatives in the animal kingdom but because of human activity have become crit- ically endangered. Chester Zoo in the UK and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) are doing their best to help save Sumatran Orangutans as well as an increasing number of other endangered species and their habitats world-wide. Can we help, too? Yes, we can! How? By telling our friends about it.
