Confucius (circa 551-479 BC)

was a Chinese thinker and social philosopher （哲学家）of the Spring and Autumn Period. He was also known as

Zhong Ni ( 仲尼 ). He was born in the village of Zou in the country of Lu.

In the Lun Yu, we can read shorts analects （文选） were the Sage 圣人 lives and discuss with his disciples ( 弟子 ). This is maybe the first human scripture ( 手稿 )giving someone’s detailed and realistic portrait 描写 .
