Dr. Rubrecht, Wednesday 3 Hello students! This sheet explains what we will do for the spring semester 2020. Please read it carefully. This sheet shows the weekly schedule. Follow the Weekly Schedule. Remember that, for example, if Week 3 says that Chapter 2 answers must be submitted, you must submit your answers ON CLASS DAY OF WEEK 3. You CANNOT be late with submissions. If you are, you will lose valuable participation points. Thus: it is a VERY GOOD IDEA to read through the Weekly Schedule, understand what things are due, understand when things are due, and ask questions if you have any. ------------------------------ [10] ------------------------------

Next, understand that we should all try Zoom. I want everyone to know how to do this. • For our first class, let’s be on Zoom. Try to be in the Zoom classroom by 14:50. If

you cannot log in today, don’t worry. It will not affect your grade. • Check Oh-o! Meiji (or possibly my webpage at the “Downloads-Hatten” link) for

Zoom Meeting ID information. • Remember: the typical purpose of Zoom is to see each other and for me to check if

you have any questions or problems, and to give feedback when necessary. I want to use this for the first lesson to make sure everyone is ok.

• If Zoom does not work, it’s ok. Relax! We might have to just try a few things to see if they work.
