Mississippi Republican Party Chairman Joe Nosef sent a fundraising letter to FoFo Gilich, who he later claimed was really a Democrat despite running as a Republican against Windy Sweatman III, also a Democrat. Nosef endorsed Sweatman, who lost the special election to Gilich.
