Youth Summer Area Orientation Brief Classes and Activities
Register your children this month for Youth Area Orientation Brief Summer classes and activities. Children new to Japan are offered this interactive orientation with the opportunity to learn about sites to see, fun things to do and also meet other new students. K-5th grades: June 20, July 18, August 15. 6th - 12th grades: June 21, July 19, August 16. For more information and to register, call 243-3372.

Theatre Auditions

There are roles for students from 1st through 12th grades. There is no guarantee that everyone who audition will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition must arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two-hour session. All parents need to read and sign the liability and self-release forms prior to participation. Forms are available at Yokosuka or Ikego School Age Care and at the audition on July 17th.

Benny Decker Theater will re-open after the update the sound system on July 3rd. All movies will be shown at Fleet Theater. Children under 10 years old will be permitted in Fleet Theater on Friday and Saturday during this time. Call 243-6703 for more information.
COMMENT: I attended the June 11th showing of Wonder Woman at Benny Decker Theater. My overall experience was awful. Throughout the showing there were numerous loud children talking and shouting. A family in front of me had children that had no interest in being there and were playing with toys while one of the adults in that family spent her entire time looking at her cell phone with the bright
