PROFILE
Currently:
Mr. Peter Lorri is currently the M&E Advisor, SNV Netherlands Development Organization. In an integrated programme called SUSTAIN Africa, dealing with integrated sectors of Agriculture, Water security, Energy and Environment in Tanzania. Mr. Lorri supports the developing of collaborative working relationships with the government institutions, agencies and private sectors in determining the scope and priorities of the Information Systems component in collaboration with other stakeholders to harmonize existing parallel information systems through data mapping, rationalizing indicators, convening key stakeholders and promoting streamlined reporting, strengthens supportive supervision systems for ensuring high quality data at the central level, the timely submission of data, and supporting use of data for decision-making. Support high level understanding and working on Information Systems Integration, harmonization and where possible interoperability. Providing technical assistance to SUSTAIN implementing partners in assessing and designing M&E systems, conduction data quality assessment, designing data collection tools and training M&E staff in basic quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Previously: In the course of the over 5 years work experience, Mr. Lorri has made several achievements such provided capacity building to over 20 different projects in Tanzania implemented by sub grantees (CSOs & CBOs) and NGO's with funding from different sources such USAID, DFID, EU and UNDP/GEF in Monitoring & Evaluation and Learning. The focus being on basic M&E concept and skills, developing M&E plans, M&E data collection and reporting forms/templates, how to conduct data quality assessment, develop project work plans, milestone tracking, data collection, analysis and report writing. Developed M&E system for integrated projects in the field of environment, agriculture, water and energy contributed in the development and piloting of an internal and integrated data quality assessment (DQA) tools. Throughout his career he has developed responsible professional experience in project management particularly in providing Monitoring &Evaluation (M&E) technical backstopping to the management, in the development and implementation of monitoring, evaluation and learning systems and processes to support accountability and adaptive management of program through learning.

I was a team member in joint research project between UDSM and Oslo University, Norway on Biodiversity Research entitled Vascular Plants Diversity and Abundance along altitudinal gradient in Pare mountains.
Assessing the conservation status of Pare Mountains using indicator species. I took part in the assessment of forest condition (status, threats, diversity by using indicator species (Vascular plants) and socio-economic benefits.
