Much can come before the comparative to give emphasis. Ex: Shes much nicer than her sister. Is Tokyo much more modern than New York?The is used before superlative adjectives. Ex: Hes the funniest student in the class. Which is the tallest building in the world?

USE Comparatives compare one thing, person, or action with another. Ex: Shes taller than me. Tokyos more expensive than Viet Nam.

Superlatives compare somebody or something with the whole group. Ex: Shes tallest in the class. Its most expensive hotel in the world.

As as shows that something is the same or equal. Ex: Jims as tall as Peter. Im as worried as you are.

Not as/so as shows that something isnt the same or equal. Ex: She isnt as tall as her mother. My car wasnt so expensive as yours.
