PLANES AND SKEW LINES

Face Any side of a figure that is flat and forms a side or a base.

Edge The place where two faces meet.

Vertex The place where three or more edges meet.  (The corners)

Diagonal A line that connects two non-adjacent vertices.

Parallel Lines

Lines in the same plane that do not intersect.

Intersecting Lines Lines that cross or touch each other.

Perpendicular Lines

Two lines that intersect to form a right angle.

Skew lines Two lines that do not intersect and are not in the same plane.
