THE CITY IS SO BIGThe city is so bigKota itu sangat besarIts bridges quake with fearJembatan-jembatannya retak dengan sangat mengerikanI know, i have seen at nightSaya tahu, saya sudah melihatnya pada malam hariThe lights sliding from house to houseLampu-lampu itu tersusun dari rumah ke rumahAnd trains pass with windows shiningDan kereta-kereta lewat dengan jendela-jendela yang berkilauLike a smile full of teethSeperti senyum yang lebar

I have seen machines eating housesSaya melihat mesin-mesin menelan rumah-rumahAnd stairways walk all by themselvesDan melihat tangga-tangga berjalan sendiriAnd elevator doors opening and closingDan elevator terbuka dan tertutupAnd people disappearDan orang-orang menghilang
