DEFINITIONS INJECTION

Injection is a sterile dosage form of solutions, emulsions or suspensions or powders to be dissolved or suspended prior to use , which is injected into the skin tissue tearing or through the skin or mucous membranes .

PURPOSE INJECTION

In general, the injection is done with the aim to accelerate the process of absorption ( absorption ) of the drug to get a rapid drug effect .

INDICATIONSInjection is usually performed on patients who are not aware of and did not want to cooperate because they do not allow the drug to be administered orally . If the client is not aware of or confused , so the client is not able to swallow or retain the drug under the tongue . CONTRA INDICATIONS

HOW TO PREVENT INFECTION DURING INJECTION

• To prevent contamination of the solution , inhale medicine from ampoule quickly . Do not let the ampoule in an open state

• To prevent contamination of the needle , the needle touches prevent contaminated areas ( eg ampoules or vials outer side , the outer surface of the needle cap , nurse hand , the top of the drug container , the surface of the table )
