Spearheading Jim Courier Tennis at Casa de Campo is tennis professional Jose Vaca-Bustamante. He brings to the resort

years of coaching experience in all skill levels and ages, most recently at the NCAA level. Focusing on a unique methodol-

ogy, the program invites residents and guests to enjoy one-on-one tennis lessons with Vaca-Bustamante and his team of

professionals. A Junior Tennis program for kids’ ages 6+ will launch on October 7th, 2015 and run for 9 months during the

school year followed by weekly Summer Camp programs providing young athletes’ year-round training.

Founded by Jim Courier and Olivier Morel, the mission of Jim Courier Tennis is to provide each and every player the path-

way to their highest level of performance and on-court enjoyment. The program is committed to helping players of all skill

levels attain their maximum potential by integrating technical and tactical instruction, with a focus on tennis-specific drills

to strengthen the body and mind.

Health & Wellness Programing at Casa de CampoSlated to open in November 2015, the full-service facility will emphasize functional physical therapy with a focus on rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and personal training to deliver everlasting results for personal health and fitness. Led by Pinecrest Physical Therapy President and Miami Marlins rehabilitation consultant Ron Yacoub and his team of certified sports medicine specialists, Pinecrest Physical Therapy at Casa de Campo will be the only boutique, private physical therapy facility in the country.

“Continuing to inspire an active lifestyle with a variety of sports and activities including championship golf, polo, tennis, yoga, shooting, soccer and sport fishing, Casa de Campo gives travelers a truly unique life/vacation experience.” said Rafael Torres, President of Casa de Campo Resorts and Villas. “The Health & Wellness Program is an extremely crucial area of motivation for Casa de Campo and we are committed to developing and enhancing it each year ensuring a fun and fit stay.”

In addition to the physical therapy benefits, the new facility will showcase specialty consultations and fitness classes including diet and nutrition, Cross Fit, as well as functional and personal training – led by Eduardo Mena, who has worked with international athletes and celebrities including Golfer, Alvaro Quiros; Bullfighter, Juan Jose Padilla; and International Singer, David Bisbal to name a few. Mena has over 10 years of experience with a variety of certifications including Sports Psychology, Diet and Nutrition, and Recovery/Rehabilitation.

El torneo será una prueba por equipos de 54 hoyos jugados en Diente de Perro y Dye Fore.

This event is opened to all golf professionals and their amateurs who are interested in experiencing the best golf in the Caribbean. The Teeth of the Dog is ranked in the top fifty in the world by Golf Magazine and Links magazine.The tournament will be a 54-hole team event played on the Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore.
