정의: “The Socratic method (also known as method of

elenchus, elenctic method, Socratic irony, or Socratic

debate), named after the classical Greek philosopher

Socrates, is a form of inquiry and debate between

individuals with opposing viewpoints based on asking

and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and

to illuminate ideas.”

SCAMPER Model

수업의 주제를 도입하기 위해 다양한 질문을 던진다.

예를 들어 재활용에 관한 단원이 있다면 관련된 일련의 질

문을 준비해서 도입부에서 사용한다.

필요한 경우 호기심을 불러일으킬 수 있는 그림이나 영상

을 보고 난 후 질문을 던진다.

Topic Introduction

depressed 기분을 나타내는 형용사가 나왔다면 "When

do you feel depressed?"와 같은 질문을 던진다.

물건 이름이 나왔다면 이를 이용해 학생들에게 질문을 한

다. ("Teacher: Do you have a typewriter in your house?

Student: No. Teacher: Who has a typewriter at

home?" ...)

사람의 성격을 나타내는 형용사가 나왔다면 주변 사람들

중 생각나는 사람이 있는지 질문한다.

수업 피드백을 이끌어내는 질문

학생들에게 스스로 질문을 던지게 하는 게임.

• 학생들을 짝이나 3-4명 모둠으로 묶는다.

• 교과서에 나온 단어로 된 카드를 나누어 준다.

• 순서를 정해 돌아가면서 카드에 있는 단어가 답으로 나올 수 있도

록 질문을 한다.

• 낱말 설명하기 게임과 다른 것은 질문을 던져야 한다는 것이다.
