WET DRILLDOOR TRAINERS
CST
15 days 120 hours 10 person
“Successful training in the aviation industry not only guarantees flight safety, but also raises service quality to the highest standards…
Service standards substantially developed from “ordinary” or “standard” to “extraordinary” or “beyond expectations”...
In our training with the cabin and cockpit crew, we integrated knowledge with experience.
It was strategically important that the key messages were repeated across different training sessions.
Since the performance of complex tasks is affected by various factors, our training approach has been similar to the CRM. We developed team performance by providing comprehensive feedback.
The importance of providing real-world experience through virtual environments is well accepted, and this mode of training is used extensively in aviation for many years…

“Scenario-based training provides an opportunity to experience the situations that may occur during a routine flight and teaches systematic risk reduction and critical thinking skills.”
One of the most remarkable changes in aviation training over the past a few years is the use of simulation. The capabilities now offered by simulation have created unlimited opportunities for aviation training. In fact, aviation training is now
more realistic safe cost-effective Flexible
than ever before with simulators…
It also builds a cabin crew confidence and teamwork environment inside the group during the activities.
Look at chain of errors that can cause accidents
It also helps to evaluate multiple items in a single scenario;Fire fighting scenario Injury treatmentUse of emergency equipmentsCRM skills (communication,DM,teamwork,etc..)
Objectives , Location, Training aids Conditions, Participation Triggers , Distracters, Incorporating skills(e.g CRM) Different roles Instructors check list or guidance
Application of SOP Operation of equipment or system Application of skills communication, team work, etc. Understanding of operations manual emergency check list use
All need to occur during the scenario Applying SOP, using check list, applying CRM skills
Cabin Crew competencies should be defined İn order to be a succesfull on scenario based training;
Emergency demo Emergency evacuation Fire drill First aid Door operation DG incident&accident Restraint passenger Decompression Ditching
What type of training will be utilized?
Classroom training Hands-on exercise Simulated exercises
What type of training center? Sngl training center Multiple training center (diff. Devices)
Operators should make a list of all training aids requied for exercises or scenarios
Emergency equipments Demo kit Briefing cards Life vests Life raft
Training aids should be reliable Scenario based training can only be built on available training aids Lack of training aids during the scenario can result in trainees performing inadequately Equipments should be reset after scenario
Operator should produce outlines; A/C type assigned crew positions phase of flight etc Description of flight Narrow&wide body flight time during the service
Training device and aids must support conditions realistic environment doors are armed smoke dedector activated signs
Howmany trainees will actively participate?Active : operating crew membersPassive :acting as passengers or observing exercise
Minimum crew requirements
Trigger is the way by which scenario begins e.g; passenger alerts crew when passenger got sick
Distracters are planned actions passengers that distract crew from performing their duties
e.g; medical diversion because of sick passenger Unruly passenger
Clear instructions should be provided for each participants playing a role
Triggers must be very specific require C/C to take action define what happens and when
Scenario should last 10-15 minutes An additional 15 min can be reserved for; debriefing setting up scenario Let them to conduct walk around training device to familiarize themselves with environment
