Engineering, Materials, Energy, and Chemical Engineering
are the core competence of UMP – all of them are multi
disciplinary.
The new data show, compared previously, new areas
supporting the core competency are budding.
Nurturing these areas, engaging cyber systems (artificial
intelligence, data mining, machine learning, big data analysis)
would drive UMP to the desired destination (if the current
practice of strategic planning and careful monitoring
