(Natural Gas Hydrate)란?
2005년 초에는 가스전 남쪽 2.5㎞ 지점에서 추가 가스전(B5) 발견(508억 입방피트의 매장량), 2008년 11월 개발 완료
현재 하루 평균 생산량은 천연가스가 5천만 입방피트, 원유는 1,000배럴로약 2억 5천만 불의 수입대체 효과 (천연가스는 하루 34만 가구, 원유는 하루자동차 2만대를 운행할 수 있는 양)
동해-1 가스전 개발을 통해 우리나라는 세계 95번째 산유국
동해 가스전
1998년 7월 울산 남동쪽 58km고래5구조 탐사시추(1공)에 성공(가채 매장량 1,856억 입방피트의양질의 천연가스층 확인)
2002년 3월 15일 생산시설 착공

소요. (작업 수심과 동일한 압력으로 생활하며 최대 30일까지 작업)
• 혼합가스는 주로 Heliox 사용하며 산소:헬륨(2%: 98%) 사용 시 180m 수심에서 19배
산소 흡입하게 되며 0.38 ata 분압으로 문제 없음.
