Round Robin Review• Today we‘ll be working on review activities. • I have designed 7 activities. • The goal is for you to complete at least 3 of them

today• Out of these 3, I will grade the best 2 as an Open

Note Quiz grade for MP2. • You CAN work with your notes, your compañeros, &

will have MINIMAL guidance from Sra. – I am here as a facilitator for the activities NOT to walk

you thru how to complete them--- you need to KNOW this stuff & can do IT!!!

Primera Actividad• Imagine you’re an entertainment writer for a local

Spanish newspaper. – IN SPANISH, write a BRIEF review of your favorite

movie, TV show, sporting event, OR music. – In your review, be sure to say which is your favorite &

give a reason why – Compare your favorite to one other movie, show,

sport, or musical group– List 2 other similar movies, shows, sports, or types of

music groups that the reader might like to check out

Segunda ActividadEntrevistas con compañeros (Writing Section)1. Answer the questions on the next slide on your

own IN SPANISH so you’ll have an answer ready when you are interviewed by your compañero/a

2. Ask the 5 questions to your compañero/a and record their answer.

3. Reverse roles.

Tercera Actividad• People en español– In groups of 3, look for a famous person in your magazine– Write down which month, year, and page he/she is on– Using your prior knowledge or your phone, find a movie

he/she has acted in or a song he/she sings– Write in Spanish about his/her work and give your

opinion about it• What kind of work does he/she do?• Is it something you like? Why/why not?• Does he/she have any upcoming performances?

Cuarta Actividad

In groups of 3, you will create a facebook profile in Spanish (OBVIOUSLY it will be made up)– The most important part to have is a “status” with plans

to go out – to the movies, with friends, to a concert, etc.

– Then, other groups will write back with “comments” asking about when/where/cost/etc.

– Original group write back answering them and to make plans to go together

– Other groups can comment to come with them

Quinta Actividad• Using the boleto you created last class para un evento

especial write a conversation about attending this event • On the boleto include:

– What type of evento especial – deportes, película, concierto, etc.- you are planning on attending

– El lugar (location) del evento– Cuándo es el evento– Cuánto cuesta la entrada– Which personas famosas you might run into – deportistas,

actores, cantantes, etc.• Your conversation should include plans

Sexta Actividad – Con tu compañero/a, escriben una conversación about a

form of entertainment you enjoy– Include

– What type of entertainment– deportes, película, concierto, etc.- you are discussing

– What genre it is (comedy, action, music, etc.) – Your opinion about a specific movie, TV show, concert, or athletic

performance, etc. – Why you like this form of entertainment? &/ Or What you like most

about it? – If there are any other similar movies, TV shows, musical styles,

bands, concerts, or athletic performances they might like to check out

Septima Actividad – Using the yellow sentence stripes write a Spanish

Twitter post that expresses any of the following ideas – What type of entertainment– deportes, película, concierto,

etc.- you enjoy the MOST & What genre it is (comedy, action, music, etc.)

– Your opinion about a specific movie, TV show, concert, or athletic performance, etc.

– Why you like this form of entertainment? &/ Or What you like most about it?

– If there are any other similar movies, TV shows, musical styles, bands, concerts, or athletic performances they might like to check out
