St. Pius X Youth Ministry
Phil's Friends During Spring Break, on Monday, March 27, from 12:15-3:15 pm, the youth group will be volunteering at Phil's Friends which makes care packages for cancer patients. We'll meet at Pius at 12:15 pm for carpooling and be back by 3:15 pm. Since it's during Spring Break, we only reserved 25 spots, but that doesn't mean they won't fill
up fast, so please email Mark Restaino, at [email protected], to reserve your spot. Yahtzee with Seniors On Monday, April 3, from 6:30-8 pm, in the St. Pius X Social Center/ gym, the Pius VIP group and other seniors are invited to hang out with the Pius youth group and play games such as yahtzee, cards, uno, scrabble, etc. We’ll also be making plastic bag mats for the homeless with the Pius Prayer Shawl Ministry. Students can invite their grandparents as well. We hope to see you there!
Confirmation Passion Retreat The Passion Retreat is on Holy Thursday and Good Friday, from 7 pm on April 13 to 8 pm on April 14 at St. Pius X. This is an overnight retreat, but if students or parents are uncomfortable
with staying overnight, students can leave at 10 pm and come back at 9 am. For students from Pius, the fee for the retreat is covered in the Confirmation fee. For students from other parishes, the cost is $20. For the Passion Retreat, we're also looking for adult chaperones who can participate in and help with different activities during the retreat. We have two shifts for chaperones, overnight 7 pm-9 am and daytime 9 am-8 pm. Please email Mark Restaino, at [email protected], to sign up your student or yourself (as a chaperone) for the Passion Retreat or to let him know that your student will be attending a Confirmation Retreat at another parish. Keep an eye on this weekly newsletter for a packing list and more info.

REFLEXION 1.
Nelson Medina, OP
