6. CONTESTANTS:

6.1. Membership All Participants (Athletes and Officials) require a WTF Global Licence

and must be member of a National Taekwondo Federation.

This membership must be proved during registration by providing a valid WTF Global licence.

6.2. Categories: Cadet Male and Female

Junior Male and Female

Senior Male and Female (WTF G1 Ranking)

6.3.Age: Age categories according to WTF-categories accept for the cadet

division.

Cadet competitors: born in 2000, 2001, 2002

Junior competitors: born in 1999, 1998 and 1997

Seniors competitors: born in 1997 and older (WTF G1 ranking)

(Juniors born in 1997 may compete as a junior or as a senior.

Competing in both categories is not allowed.)

7.RULES:

7.1. Competition Rules: WTF Competition Rules

7.2. Time Mode: Single elimination tournament system

3x1,5min. (30sec. break) for Senior G1 ranking

3x1,5min. (30sec. break) for Juniors, Cadets

7.3. Awards: 1st, 2nd and two 3rd places will be rewarded.

7.4. Venue Rules: Only the competitors and their coaches will be allowed to enter the competition area. Only one coach for every five competitors has free admission with a maximum of four coaches per team. The minimum age for coach must be 18 years old and is only allowed in sportswear.

7.5. Equipment: DAEDO WTF –recognized PSS shall be provided for all competition areas and all weight divisions (Cadet, Junior and Senior).

Headgear, groin-, forearm-, shin-, mouthpiece and gloves will be brought by the contestants, which is compulsory. Sensor socks will not be provided by the organization team and must be purchased by each competitor.

WTF recognized uniform and PROTECTIVE equipment.

7.6. Protest: Only the official coach is allowed to protest, immediately

after the end of the contest. An amount of € 100,- will have to be paid for each protest. The protest amount will not be refunded in any case.

7.7. Liability: All competitors are considered to participate at their own risk.

The South Hellenic Taekwondo Union assume no responsibility for any damages, injuries or losses. Due circumstances the organization committee can decide to adjust the competition.

All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical treatment in Greece. If not, this will have to be paid in cash.

8.ENTRY:

8.3. Deadline: April 14, 2014. Entries after deadline will not be accepted.

8.4. Accreditations: Only 1 competitor and 1 coach can enter the competition area.

Pictures: Please note that during the registrations on http://www.tpss.nl

We will ask to upload a valid picture for each coach and competitor.

Pictures needs to be uploaded in passport format, any other format is not allowed.

8.5. Procedure: Application is only valid when payment has been done at the same time of registration. If the athlete registered on-line (http://www.tpss.nl) does not take part in the competition, but he/she has not been removed from the list of participants before the deadline (April 14, 2014) his/her team or official must fully (100%) pay his/her Entry fee for participation.

Entry fee is not refundable at any time after the deadline!

8.6. Entry & Payments: 75€ for each contestant

All fees must be paid in EURO’S and please ensure you pay any additional currency or bank charges. If any additional costs are charged to the account of the European Para Taekwondo Union it will have to be paid in cash during registration.

10. INTERNATIONAL REFEREES:

Invitations and participating of all International Referees will be made by the Organizing Committee of the Greece Open and cooperation with the ETU Referees Committee Chairman. Accommodation and full board from Thursday the 24th (check-in 18.00 hrs) till Monday 28th of April 2014 (check out 10.00 hrs) will be born by the Organizing Committee. International referees will receive an allowance of € 75,- for each tournament day.

11. VISA:

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises that those participants who need visa for entry into Greece should apply for visa at least one (1) month before arrival in Greece.

If your Team needs Greek visa, please send completely filled-out Visa Details Form (included in the Invitation Packet) and passport copies of all your team members to the Hellenic Taekwondo Federation (email: info@elot-tkd.gr) informing of the location of the Greek Embassy to which your team will apply for visa.
