PROCEDURE:

1. Slice the stomach part ofthe deveined prawns to make it

stand when cooked.

2. To prepare the batter, putegg yolk with ice cold water andb a k i n g p o w d e r i n a m i x i n gbowl. Sift in flour and mix well

with a wooden spoon. (The bat-ter should be somewhat thinand watery, and run easily offthe spoon. If too thick, thin it

with drops of cold water. Ideally,the batter should be used shortly

3. To cook: In deepfrying, fill a deep fatfrying pan to a depthof three inches withcorn oil. Heat the oil.Dip one piece of foodat a time into the bat-ter, twirling it around
