“My name is Tran Ngoc Thien. I am a Senior Internal Control and Risk Management Officer at Vietnam Dairy Products JSC (Vinamilk). At Vinamilk, I designed and builded enterprise risk management (ERM) system to help company achieve strategic goals and participated in company’s projects as a member of Project Team. Before that, I had 3 years’ experience of working as Senior Risk Managent Officer, Credit Officer, ERP Software Consultant and self-employment.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws at University of Laws Ho Chi Minh City with the goal of using knowledge of Vietnam and international laws to improve internal control system. In addition, I completed my Master’s degree and my Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a GPA of 8.11 at University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.

• Risk management: Built enterprise risk management (ERM) system, including ERM policy, ERM process, ERM handbook. Define risk appetite. Identify, analyze, evaluate risks. Analyse complex data from various sources for risk solutions. Report risk in an appropriate way for different audiences.

• Project management: Built the project management process and the bidding process. Work closely with project team members to ensure the project implementation is in compliance with the local laws and company policies.
