El verbo to be tiene una conjugación en sus

pronombres los cuales son

AM, IS y ARE

AM (1ra persona) va conjugado con I

IS (2da persona) va conjugado He, She y It

ARE (3ra persona) va conjugado con We,

You y They.

FORMA AFIRMATIVA Las oraciones afirmativas se construyen de la siguiente forma: colocando el sujeto de la oración seguido a continuación del verbo TO BE y el resto de la oración.

• I am a scientist

• He is in his office

• She is hungry

• They are psychologists

• We are twenty years old

FORMA NEGATIVA

• Para formar la oración negativa, sencillamente agregamos el

adverbio NOT despues del verbo en presente.

I am not a student

You are not in the college

She is not married

He is not sick

It is not a dog

We are not happy

They are not eating

FORMA INTERROGATIVA

Para poder realizar oraciones interrogativas, simplemente se coloca el verbo TO BE primero, luego se pone el sujeto de la oración y el complemento de esta.

• Am i sick? Are you sad? Is he fine? Is she eating? Is it a pen? Are we hungry? Are they single?
