Hop-by-Hop Congestion Control Over a Wireless Multi-Hop Network: Thisproject focuses on congestion control over multihop Wireless networks. Manywireless MAC use a time-division strategy for channel access, where, at any point inspace, the physical channel can be accessed by a single user at each instant oftime. We develop a fair hop-by-hop congestion control algorithm with the MACconstraint being imposed in the form of a channel access time constraint, using an

optimization-based framework. This project is implemented by using NS2 (NetworkSimulator) Software.

Cross Layer Fault Tolerant Communication Architecture for Wireless

Sensor Network: A wireless sensor network (WSN) consists of spatially distributed

autonomous sensors to cooperatively monitor physical or environmental conditions, such astemperature, sound, vibration, pressure, motion or pollutants. Routing is a key feature for

wireless sensor networks, as it extends the geographic range, enables larger installation, and

Provides redundancy to packet transmission. In order to manage faults in wireless sensornetworks a new routing protocol and integrated MAC is used. Protocol design uses cross layer

principle to minimize signaling overhead and power consumption. By using different routing

rotocols for cluster architecture the efficienc and data latenc has to be anal zed. The
