PFDAA 30th Anniversary Gift The PFDAA executive will be sending out a copy of studio quality music from the regions Slask Opole, Gorny Slask and Pszczyn along with a copy of a book titled “Polish Touches” as a commemorative 30th Anniversary gift for all PFDAA members. (Those who were in Denver, already received their book). The Anniversary gift will be sent out in early January. It you don’t receive your gift by Jan 15, 2014, please contact Edziu Rajtar at [email protected].
Rzeszow Festival Update On December 10th the following information was released on Wspolnota website regarding the upcoming Rzeszow festival:
• Dates: July 20- 30th 2013 • Optional early arrival to participate in:
o Workshops or o Concerts outside of Rzeszow in nearby towns
• Costs 1,100 PLN • Limit – Max 30 Groups

Does your group need to update or create a new logo, but it is finding it hard to locate someone with the right skill set? If so the PFDAA recommends Carla Tomaszewski original creator of the PFDAA Logo 30 years ago. Carla is a graphic artist who can design custom made displays for exhibits & festivals, CD covers, banners, signage, promotional materials, brochures and a whole lot more. Polish Costumes for Sale
The PFDAA has been approached to post the following article regarding the sale of Polish costumes. Paul Root is looking to sell a collection of costumes originally collected by his aunt throughout the 1970’s & 80’s that were used in exhibits and various Polish Heritage events in and around Syracuse, NY. If you are interested in purchasing any of costumes listed below please contact Paul directly to work out all the details. Paul can be contacted at the following email address: [email protected].

Member Group’s Anniversary Database
The PFDAA currently has a project underway to collect all dance groups’ anniversary dates for its records. We ask you to please send the following info: Please send your information to [email protected]

Website Members Only Section:
The PFDAA webmaster has been hard at work setting up a member’s only section for PFDAA members to get access to music and eventually workshop DVD’s of various suites from past PFDAA festivals. The following titles will be available in 2014 to members in good standing:
• 2007 PFDAA Festival – Podlasie music • 2007 PFDAA Festival – Spisz music • 2007 PFDAA Festival – Wielkopolska music • 2007 PFDAA Festival – Eastern Krakowiak music • 2010 PFDAA Festival – Bilgorajski music • 2010 PFDAA Festival – Kaszubskie music • 2010 PFDAA Festival – Zywiecki music
PFDAA Website Update
Currently the PFDAA is updating its website and requests all member groups to send in their group logo along with 2 two 3 pictures. Please send your logos & photos to [email protected]. Lastly if you have any ideas or suggestions, please let us know, this is your site so your input is needed.
2014 Annual PFDAA Dues
Group members are asked to send in their Annual Dues of $35 and any past dues to our Treasurer: Edziu Rajtar 2239 Stinson Blvd NE Minneapolis, MN 55418 Or you can submit your dues our New online PFDAA Membership Renewal payment option. For those groups that are interested in using the new online option please follow the instructions below:
1. Log on to the PFDAA website: www.pfdaa.org 2. Click on the Donate button at the bottom of the webpage:
3. The following secure payment page will be displayed:
4. Then enter in your membership fees for the year $35.00USD (please note
those groups paying their membership fees online there is 5% service charge to cover the cost of the online transaction charged to us by the vendor). Please add this service charge to the $35.00 membership fee when making payment.
5. Next click on the update total button and wait for the webpage to refresh. 6. Next choose your method of secure online payment (credit card or PayPal
account). 7. Once an payment option is chosen and submitted you will be taken to the
next screen:
8. Once the page loads please enter comments into the special instructions
section as follows: i. Group Name , City, Country
ii. Group Contact – email address, phone number iii. Payment reason: Renewal Fees for 2013
Newsletter Articles
If your group is celebrating a special event or would like to get the word out about an event please feel free to submit a newsletter article to [email protected] and it will be published in our next newsletter. Newsletters are published every 4 months (March, June, Sept, and December).
