佛祖舍利重返云居寺

昨日, 云居寺山门前, 北京市副市长蔡赴朝将佛祖肉身舍利交给传印大和尚。

当日, 两粒佛祖肉身舍利重返发掘地云居寺, 并向公众开放10天, 之后将送

归首博继续珍藏。佛祖肉身舍利1981年出土于云居寺雷音洞内。这次观瞻

采用了特殊方式：通过摄像头, 游客可以从舍利塔两侧的两个46英寸液晶显

示屏上观瞻。

Buddha’s relics return to Yunju Temple

Yesterday, in front of the gate to Yunju Temple, Beijing Deputy Mayor Cai Fuchao passes Buddha bodily relics to Master Abbot Chuan Yin. The same day, two fragments of the relics were returned to Yunju Temple – the site where they were originally excavated – where they will remain on public display for 10 days, before being returned to the Capital Museum’s Collection of Perpetual Treasures. These relics were unearthed in 1981 in Leiyin Cave at Yunju Temple. The display employs a special technique: via a camera, visitors can view the relics on two 46-inch LCD screens on two sides within the pagoda.

康定泥石4死50失踪

当地泥石流灾害已造成4人死亡、4人受伤, 目前仍有50人失踪和下落不明。

出。昨日凌晨, 四川甘孜州康定县发生泥石流。截至昨日20时, 时紧急启动

国家四级救灾应急响应, 并派出工作组连夜赶赴灾区。

Rockslide in Kangding claims 4 deaths, 50 missing

Local rockslide disaster kills 4, injures 4, with 50 still missing. Seventeen rescue personnel from the National Disaster Relief Committee and the Ministry of Civil Affairs pull the body of a victim from the rock debris. Early yesterday morning, a rockslide engulfed Ganzizhou, Kangding County, Sichuan Province. As of 8:00 PM yesterday, a national level-4 state of emergency was in effect, and an operational team deployed to the disaster area that same night.

彪接连罚下天津队3人, 引发不满。比赛结束后, 天津队球员追打何志彪, 造成

全场混乱, 在全运赛场续演京津“大战”。此外, 球迷煽风点火的语言以及不文

明的举动也使看台陷入一片混乱, 赛后双方球迷曾互掷水瓶。

Player hits referee after Tianjin yields to Beijing

Yesterday, police restrain Tianjin player Hao Tengjiao (middle) as he attempts to strike a referee. That day, in the third-round play-offs in the 1st Group of the National Game Men’s Football Final (U20), Beijing vanquished Tianjin 3-1. During the second half, referee He Zhibiao sent off three Tianjin players in succession, an act which fueled discontent. After the match Tianjin players tried to strike the referee. The resulting chaos on the pitch was thus continued the Beijing-Tianjin “Grand Battle”. In addition, fans’ inflammatory language and hooliganism caused the stands to also erupt into a melee. After the match, fans of the two sides also pelted each other with water bottles.

December 1st, 2009, Officer Gao Zuoxi, a policeman from Dayangshu Township of Hulunbei’er City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, sits at home looking worried. He has not been to work at his police precinct station for two years.
