The Zeoair bollard can be used for localised external air remediation applications such as outdoor bistros, cafes or restaurants and are powered by Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries.

For dedicated indoor air remediation applications the bollards are AC mains rectified 12 volt DC power operation.

The Zeoair bollard provides a localised bubble of fresh cooled pure air within the vicinity of the bollard’s seating area.

The area of active air purification surrounding the Zeoair bollardis 4.75 cubic meters per minute when utilising 12V battery operation.

The anionic charged air stream emitted by the bollard assembly, promotes well being and invigoration, thereto the negative charged ions purify the surrounding air by sanitisation of air borne germs.

For larger areas of localised air purification the Zeoair bollards are fitted with a high powered inline ducted fan jet which is mains powered.

The integral re-chargeable valve regulated sealed lead acid battery comprising the standalone Zeoair bollards will provide 25 hours of continuous duty for operating the air exchange vacuum fans.

Zeoair bollards not only provide pure air but also cool the air surrounds within the sphere of influence by a minima of 5deg C.

The cooling effect is by virtue of the high velocity air stream exhausted thus providing a wind chill factor .

In winter time such cool air may not be desirable hence the temperature of the exhausted pure air can be regulated warmer by slowing the fans speed.

Optionally multiple ancillary Zeoair bollard’s can be powered from one central master bollard which is mains connected and rectified to a safe 12Volt direct current at low amperage.

The ancillary bollards are connected in series to each other via electric leads embedded within the bollard area containment rope having male jacks terminating from the ends of said rope.

Each ancillary bollard is jacked in to each others female receptor port respectively, thus charging and powering each individual unit from one centralised mains powered unit.

Optional Inline electric ducted fan jet.The above mentioned Inline electric ducted fan jet is a specially designed high powered air displacement system for purifying large areas quickly at a maximum rate of 930 liters of air per second or 55 cubic meters of air per minute. Due to the power draw of the motor and air compression loading, the fan jet assembly is purposely powered by hard wired AC mains rectified 12 Volt DC due to the internal battery comprising the standard Zeoair Parasol’s having insufficient Amp hour capacity for long duration use. If choosing the high powered Inline electric ducted fan jet unit it is recommended thatthe mains power lead plug be kept weather proof and that the power lead does not obstruct walk ways or pavement areas whereto mitigate tripping and or falls.

The Zeoair anionic air filtration bollard has an in built high sensitive air quality sensor that detects the presence of volatile organic composites, noxious gases, formaldehyde, cigarette smoke, ammonia and all polluting agents that are in the air.

The Zeoair smart CPU controlled air quality sensor samples and measures particle count of the scrubbed air contained within the cavity of the Zeoair bollard prior to being exhausted to the atmosphere, if the Zeoair bollard filter has reached a saturation point due to maximum adsorption or blocked filters, an alert is provided by luminescent indicators as to the level of air contamination.

This information is translated into colouring of LED tell tale indicators, whereby red illumination equates to poor air quality and therefore the Zeoair panel requires regeneration and cleaning, yellow indication equates to an acceptable air quality level whereby green illumination indicates the ultimate of air purity with high anion content.

When the yellow indicator flashes the sensor detects a drop in the domestic environmental air quality, such flashing colour signal equates to enabling automatic mode whereby the fan and ioniser is activated to scrub the air and emit anions to the air stream for exhaust to the localised outdoor environment until air purity is re-established.

Pending the level of pollutants, periodical regeneration of the bollard filter may be required whereto maintain maximum adsorption capacity and air sanitisation, this is achieved by the ZEOAIR filter exchange service personnel, undertaking the speedy exchange of the filter cartridge with a regenerated filter.

The cartridge will need to be replaced when the air quality sensor indicator LED flashes red.

Raw components are listed in compliance with OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.1200. For actual values, see the NIST Report of Investigation. 95 % of the material’s maximum particle size is below the inhalation size limits (100 µm or 100 microns, inhalation) established by the ACGIH, Appendix D.

To minimise exposure to dust and to respirable crystalline silica wear a suitable P1 or P2 particulate respirator (AS/NZS 1715 and AS/NZS 1716).

This material is non-hazardous according to health criteria of NOHSC Australia.
