Important Function at ACTIX
For combine all logfiles (superstream), to Import filter and query
For editing or create new Site database template
For analyzer of Layer3, Messages, Handover, etc
Combining logfiles
Combine all MS1 logfiles (scanning mode)
Combine all MS2 logfiles (Short Call mode)
Combine all MS3 logfiles (Long Call mode)
After open logfiles, you have to append/combine all logfiles to 1 superstream
Go to TOOLS menu and select Create Superstream
IMPORT saving filter
For processing SCANNING mode logfiles, you have to separate between 900 and 1800 measurement.
Go to TOOLS menu and select Analysis Manager
Filter created:
Band Coverage --- For select 1800 onlyGSM900 --- For select 900 onlyRemove Rx Level --- Removing bugs for poor level (for Tem7 logfiles : W600i)OPTION on Map View
Site database view, devide by GSM, GSM new, GSM Indoor, DCS, DCS new, DCS indoor
For creating serving line cells, only for dedicated mode
For Cells view, thematic can be choosen from BCCH, CI, LAC, etc
SCANNING : Rx Level Signal Strength
After combining logfiles, click on MS1 and select the mode you want to display
Click this to see RX level strength to display on Map
FILTERING the Logfiles
Choose the band for filtering
Click this to see Best server area to display on Map
SCANNING : Best Server area
SCANNING : Sector signal strength (From BCCH scan)
Click this to see every list of ARFCN has scanned

SCANNING : Change the filter for band
Unthick the previous loaded filter to remove the filter, then tick the new filter you want to load
Dedicated Mode : Quality Sub
Select MS3 super streams, go to GSM Downlink Measurement ServRxQualSub
Dedicated Mode : SQI
Select MS3 super streams, go to GSM Downlink Measurement TEMS_SQI_Exp
ANALYZER: Show serving Cells line
Click Area select then select the polygon button
Selected area by polygon, it will showing the line from serving cells
Note: This feature only can use at dedicated mode. Can not use for Scanning mode
ANALYZER: Show serving area base from CI
ANALYZER: Serving area from CI Display at Workbook
CI decode from ACTIX
Select Display on Workbook to export logfiles to Excel worksheet
ANALYZER: GSM Message
Select GSM State to vew dedicated mode information
Make sure you select the file you want to view (eq. MS3 super streams file)
ANALYZER: GSM Message other information
ANALYZER: Protocol Stack Layer3 message
Layer3 Information window
Select the logfiles
UPDATING SITE DATABSE
Select Cells Network Explorer
A Network Explorer pop windows will appear
UPDATING SITE DATABASE
Select New GSM Site
A new element of site windows will appear, fill in all new site information to this window. Default coordinate system is WGS1984. Click OK, the new properties of site created on database
