Centromere vs. Kinetochore

The centromere joins the two sister h tidchromatids.

During mitosis a protein structure called a Kinetochore forms on each called a Kinetochore forms on each side of the centromere.

Prophase: During the prophase, the centrioles move away from each other, lengthening p g p p y g gthe microtubule bundle between them. In the nucleus, the chromatin fibers become more tightly coiled and condense into chromosomes. Each duplicated chromosome appears as two identical sister chromatids joined at the centromere. 46 chromosomes can be observed at this stage.

- รูปราง Chromosome ที่ถกูดึงจะเปนรูป V J หรือ I

- กลุม Chromosome ที่ถกูแยกออกมาเรียกวา Daughter chromosome

- Chromatid ที่ถกูแยก จะกลายไปเปน Chromosome ของเซลลที่เกิดข้ึนใหม

- Chromosome ทีถ่กูแยกออกมาเคลื่อนมาอยูที่ข้ัวของเซลล

- Chromosome คอยๆ คลายตัวออก- ตอนปลายของระยะจะเร่ิมเห็นเยื่อหมนิวเคลียส และ Nucleolusตอนปลายของระยะจะเรมเหนเยอหุมนวเคลยส และ Nucleolus
