Durante más de 25 años como dirigente scout, he conocido a muchos adultos que día a día ponen lo mejor de sí para hacer que nuestra organización, al servicio del Movimiento Scout, dé los mejores resultados posibles.

Personas con diferentes perfiles, con experiencia en diversos campos profesionales, pero todos con un elemento en común, su pasión por el Movimiento Scout.

Cada uno poniendo sus conocimientos al servicio de la Organización, dedicando horas de trabajo, de manera gratuita, para que alguna acción se lleve a cabo y dé resultado, aportando de sus recursos para apoyar a aquellos que menos tienen. Todo esto porque creen en nuestra propuesta educativa, todo esto porque ven en estos jóvenes scouts el presente y el futuro de nuestro mundo.

Gracias a esta labor, nuestras organizaciones cuentan con planes estratégicos que guían sus acciones hacia el futuro, gracias a su labor nuestras organizaciones pueden gestionar sus recursos de una manera eficiente, gracias a su labor se lleva a cabo la rendición de cuentas en tiempo y forma, gracias a su labor el conocimiento se trasmite de generación en generación.

¡Hay tanto que agradecer a todo este ejército de adultos comprometidos con el Movimiento Scout! Son una parte clave en nuestro desarrollo en nuestro anhelo por Construir un Mundo Mejor.

Su ejemplo hará que niños y jóvenes quieran seguir su huella. No solo son beneficiados por el programa que los hacen vivir, estos niños y jóvenes que tienen a un adulto frente a ellos, viviendo con pasión lo que hace, o a otros tantos adultos, que sin siquiera conocerlos, están trabajando por los niños y jóvenes de su país, son beneficiados también al contar con una organización que da el respaldo institucional para que con ello sea visible ante la sociedad.

Gracias por dedicar sus mejores esfuerzos para que el Movimiento Scout viva y siga creciendo, llegando a cada vez más niños y jóvenes en todo el mundo.

For more than 25 years as a scout leader, I have met many adults who daily put their best to make our organization, serving the Scout Movement, give the best results possible.

People with different profiles, with experience in various professional fields, but all with one thing in common, a passion for Scouting.

Each contributing with their knowledge to the service of the Organization, spending hours of work, without paid, for action to be carried out and give result, bringing its resources to support those who have less. All this because they believe in our educational proposal, all this because they see in these young scouts the present and the future of our world.

Thanks to this work, our organizations have strategic plans that guide their actions toward the future, through their work our organizations can manage their resources in an efficient manner, thanks to their labor accountability is carried out on time and shape, thanks to their work knowledge is transmitted from generation to generation.

There is so much to be grateful to this army of adults committed to Scouting! They are a key part of our development in our longing for a better world.

Their example will make children and young people want to continue their mark. They are not only benefited by the program that makes them live, these children and youth with an adult in front of them, living with passion what they do, or as many adults, that without even knowing them, are working for children and youth in their country, are also benefited by having an organization that gives institutional support and makes them visible to society.

Thank you, for devoting your best efforts to keeping alive Scouting and growing, reaching more and more children and young people around the world.

Como Secretario General, visité dos de los cursos de formación de Interamerican Leadership Training, que traducido al español sería el Curso de liderazgo Interamericano (ILT), celebrados en la Región - uno en Galveston, Texas, EE.UU. (27 diciembre 2014 a 2 enero 2015) y el más reciente en Guatemala (28 de diciembre el año 2015 - 2 de enero de 2016). Ambos eventos fueron muy concurridos - y tremendamente exitosos.

Un proyecto de diez años, el curso ILT fue idea de Ricardo Wagner (Asociación de Scouts de Guatemala) y Dan Ownby (miembro del Comité Scout Mundial y Boy Scouts of America (BSA) miembro del consejo del área Sam de Houston) quiénes firmemente creen en el desarrollo de potencial de los jóvenes en la región.

Uno tiene que estar allí para entender lo que quiero decir acerca del sentimiento y la energía de los jóvenes líderes que asistieron al evento. Les envío mi saludo scout a nuestras Organizaciones Scout Nacionales (OSN) que hicieron un trabajo maravilloso en la selección de los participantes. La formación de líderes jóvenes que luego regresan a sus países con el fin de transmitir lo que han aprendido, es una gran inversión.

Para BSA y la Asociación de Scouts de Guatemala, ¡Gracias por ser tan fantásticos anfitriones! Agradezco al Programa Mensajeros de la Paz (MoP) y al Fondo BSA/Estados Unidos para el Movimiento Scout Internacional (USFIS) por la financiación de los cursos ILT. La Fundación William Hillcourt igualmente ha sido de gran ayuda.

Animo a las OSN de la Región Interamericana para que continúen enviando jóvenes Scouts prometedores para futuras ediciones del ILT. Y se aseguren de que los líderes capacitados que regresan de los ILT tengan funciones y responsabilidades adecuadas dentro de la estructura de la OSN para contribuir como un líder joven.

As Secretary General, I visited two of the Interamerican Leadership Training (ILT) courses held in the Region – one in Galveston, Texas, USA (27 December 2014 - 2 January 2015) and the most recent one in Guatemala (28 December 2015 - 2 January 2016). Both events were well attended – and tremendously successful.

A ten-year project, the ILT course was the brainchild of Ricardo Wagner (The Scout Association of Guatemala) and Dan Ownby (World Scout Committee member and Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Sam Houston Area Council board member) who strongly believe in developing the potential of young people in the Region.

One needs to actually be there to understand what I mean about feeling the buzz and energy from those young leaders attending the event. My Scout salute to those in our National Scout Organizations (NSOs) who did such a wonderful job of selecting the participants. Training young leaders who then return to their home NSOs and pass on what they have learned to others is a great investment.

To the BSA and the Scout Association of Guatemala — thank you for being such fantastic hosts! I am grateful to the Messengers of Peace (MoP) Programme and the BSA/United States Fund for International Scouting (USFIS) for funding the ILT courses. The William Hillcourt Foundation has been helpful as well.

I encourage NSOs in the Interamerican Region to continue to send promising young Scouts for future ILTs. And make sure that the trained leaders who return from the ILTs are given suitable roles and responsibilities within the NSO structure to contribute as a young leader.

¿Cómo podemos esperar un futuro brillante y más sostenible si no empezamos a preparar a nues-tros jóvenes para hacer frente a los problemas glo-bales y crear el futuro que todos queremos ver?.

La juventud es, literalmente, nuestro futuro; que será nuestro próximo gobierno, nuestros próximos presidentes, nuestros próximos dueños de negocios, nuestros próximos maestros y lo más importante de todo, nuestros próximos líderes. Esta es la razón exacta por la que tenemos que empezar informándoles e inspirarles para que asuman roles de liderazgo en sus comuni-dades y hacer frente a los retos que se enfrenta nuestro mundo.

La pregunta que te podrías estar haciendo es, ¿cómo pode-mos hacer esto? Ahí es donde el Curso de Liderazgo Juvenil Nacional (NYLT, por sus siglas en inglés) entra en acción. Inspirado en el Entrenamiento de Liderazgo Interamericano (ILT, por sus siglas en inglés), Scouting Antiano llevó a cabo su primer entrenamiento de liderazgo entre el 28 de abril y el 1 de mayo en Curaçao. Propuesto por los jóvenes en el Foro Nacional de Jóvenes y organizado por la Red de Jóve-nes, con el apoyo de nuestros adultos. Además de los Scouts de todo Curaçao, también tuvimos la participación de Aruba y St. Maarten, que en total reunió a 24 participantes. Ellos fueron divididos en 3 grupos de 8 participantes con Ase-sores de Equipo participantes en ediciones ILT anteriores.Durante el campamento aprendieron acerca de la importancia del voluntariado, planificación de proyectos, trabajo en equi-po, el Movimiento Scout y también hubo una presentación sobre los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. Con la infor-mación y la inspiración que ganaron, cada equipo desarrolló un proyecto que ayudará a la comunidad en la que viven.

El plan es hacer de esta formación de lideraz-go un evento anual donde los jóvenes se reúnan para aprender del curso y del uno del otro e inspirar-se mutuamente para empezar a hacer una diferencia.El futuro está a la vez en nuestras manos y nuestra juventud, porque solamente podemos crear el futuro que queremos ver y la juventud es nuestro futuro. Así que en lugar de compe-tir por cosas que no importan, vamos a empezar a invertir nuestro tiempo, energía y dinero en la educación de nuestra juventud y crear el mejor futuro posible. Vamos a continuar apoyando iniciativas como el ILT que más adelante inspira-rá iniciativas como el NYLT y que va a inspirar a cambiar.

How can we expect a bright and more sustainable fu-ture if we don’t start preparing our youth to face glo-bal issues and create the future we all want to see?.

The youth is literally our future; they will be our next govern-ment, our next presidents, our next businessowners, our next teachers and most important of all, our next change-making leaders. This is the exact reason why we need to start informing them and inspiring them to take on leadership roles in their communities and tackle the challenges our world is facing.

The question you might be asking yourself is, how can we do this? That’s where the National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) comes in. Inspired by the Interamerican Leadership Training (ILT), Scouting Antiano held its first leadership training between April 28th and May 1st in Curaçao. Proposed by the youth at the Youth Forum and organized by the Youth Network, with support from our adults. Besides scouts from all over Curaçao, we also had participation from Aruba and St. Maarten, which in total summed up to 24 participants. They were divided into 3 teams of 8 participants with the Team Advisors being previous ILT participants.

During the camp they learned about for example the importance of volunteering, project planning, teamwork, Scouting and there was also a presentation about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. With the information and the inspiration they gained, each team developed a project that will help the community in which they live.

The plan is to make this leadership training an annual event where youth come together to learn from the course and from each other and get inspired by each other to start making a difference. The future is both in our hands and our youth, because only we can create the future we want to see and the youth is our future. So instead of competing for things that doesn’t matter, let’s start investing our time, energy and money in educating our youth and create the best future we can. Let’s continue supporting initiatives like the Interamerican Leadership Training that will later on inspire initiatives like the National Youth Leadership Training and that will inspire change.

El evento se realizó desde el 17 al 20 de junio del presente año, con un total de 50 participantes entre las edades de 17 a 23 años contando con la presencia de 6 ciudades del país.Fue suficiente participar de un curso para inspirarnos a replicar esa experiencia y que más scouts de nuestro país puedan vivirla también. Es así que empezamos con el primer curso de liderazgo de la Asociación de Scouts de Bolivia, al cual lo llamamos “Bolivia Leadership Training” (BLT).Como director del curso se tenía a German Rocha Rodríguez, programa Sergio Dueñas Peñaranda, Comunicación Adrian Cardozo, logística Marzio Sapiencia, servicio Simón Wirbel (voluntario Alemán), tecnología césar Peréz Guillen, Administración Paola Flores y Asesor de Asesores Anahí Soria Maldonado.Algo que es notorio en nuestra asociación y probablemente suceda también dentro de otras asociaciones es que existe mucha rivalidad entre grupos scouts. Debido a roses que algún dirigente tuvo con otro grupo en ciertas situaciones, o decisiones tomadas en algún momento que afectaron a otras personas. Esto se ha transmitido a los scouts beneficiarios y ha generado cierta rivalidad entre algunos grupos, incluso sin que ellos mismos sepan porqué son rivales. Al entrar por primera vez al curso, les pedimos a los participantes que se quitasen sus pañoletas de grupo. Días después, nos comentaron de cómo se sintieron en ese momento. “Sentía que era muy difícil despojarme de ella”, “Ver a otros scouts que ya conocías con otro color de pañoleta fue muy extraño”, “Quitarme mi pañoleta para tener que ponerme otra, y todavía de un color que no me gusta, y tener que unirme a un grupo de personas que no conozco, me hizo salir de mi comodidad”. Ver cómo esa rivalidad desapareció al cambiar la pañoleta, y que pocos sabían de qué grupo venía cada uno, hizo que los prejuicios quedasen de lado. Así se comenzó a formar una familia que convivirían por cuatro días.

Nos alegra ver que la llama que alguien nos pasó, la hemos pasado a alguien más, alguien que comparte nuestros ideales y vivencias representadas por una camisa de un color poco común y una pañoleta… y que ahora, esa luz se hace más fuerte.

The event was held from 17th to 20th of June, with a total of 50 participants between the ages of 17 to 23 years with the representing six cities from all the country. It was enough to participate in a course to get some inspiration, and replicate that experience so more scouts of our country can live as well. So we started with the first leadership training of the Scout Association of Bolivia, which we call “Bolivia Leadership Training” (BLT) As course director we had German Rocha Rodriguez, program director: Sergio Dueñas Peñaranda, Communication: Adrian Cardozo , logistics: Marzio Sapiencia , service: Simon Wirbel (German volunteer), technology: Cesar Peréz Guillen, Management: Paola Flores and Advisor of the advisors Soria MaldonadoSomething that is evident in our association and probably also happens in other associations is that there is much rivalry scout groups. Because of some misundertandings between one leader with the leader of another group in some situation, or even some decisions that affected others. And this has been transmitted to the scouts, generating a rivalry between some groups, even without themselves know why.When they first enter the course, we ask participants to take off their scarves from their group. Days later, they commented how they felt at that time. “I felt it was very difficult to deprive me of it,” “Seeing other scouts who I already know with another color of neckerchief was very strange”, “take my scarf off to get another, and with a color that I do not like, and having to join a group of people who did not know, made me leave my comfort zone. “ See how this rivalry disappeared by changing scarfs, and since they knew from which group they were coming from, it made prejudices aside. There it began a family that would live together for four days.We are pleased to see that the fire given to us, we have pass it to somebody else, someone who shares our ideals and experiences, represented by the same color shirt and scarf ... and now, the light becomes stronger.

El “Entrenamiento de Liderazgo – Paraguay 2016” (ELPa 2016) se llevó a cabo del 12 al 15 de agosto del 2016, en la ciudad de Areguá, Paraguay. Es un proyecto de Mensajeros de la Paz que nació de la necesidad de fortalecer las aptitudes de liderazgo de scouts miembros de la Asociación de Scouts del Paraguay, tomando como base el contenido desarrollado durante los Interamerican Leadership Training 2013, 2014 y 2015. Participaron 32 caminantes y rovers de 16 a 22 años provenientes grupos scouts de todo el país, quienes durante los cuatro días compartieron las actividades en equipos creados dentro del evento.El staff tuvo un rol protagónico para que el evento se llevase adelante con éxito. Meses antes de la realización del ELPa tuvimos una reunión en nuestra Casa Scout para aclarar ideas y formas de trabajo, conocernos, practicar y organizarnos. El staff estuvo integrado por ex participantes de los ILT, quienes trabajaron en la elaboración y ejecución del programa, invitados internacionales de Uruguay, Argentina y Estados Unidos, Consejeros de Equipo, quienes fueron seleccionados por un proceso de postulación y trabajaron muy de cerca con los participantes, y colaboradores nacionales de logística y apoyo.

Actualmente, se está trabajando sobre cinco proyectos de Mensajeros de la Paz que esperan poder llevarse a cabo en el transcurso del año; los mismos intentan buscar solución a problemáticas culturales y educativas existentes en el Paraguay de una forma novedosa, práctica y divertida, como es característico de las actividades scouts. Se proyecta en adelante la realización del ELPa una vez al año para poder llegar a más scouts y que estos a su vez puedan impulsar sus proyectos de servicio, generando cada vez más impactos positivos en la sociedad y fortaleciendo la de Mensajeros de la Paz.“Realmente fue una experiencia sumamente enriquecedora tanto en las instancias de intercambios con los participantes dentro y fuera de cada sesión , me pareció como que les podía brindar otro apoyo de un lugar distinto.El staff tuvo y tiene una gran amistad , trabajar con cada uno de ellos me hizo notar la hermandad que existe sin fronteras , simplemente compartiendo este gran estilo de vida como es el Movimiento Scout hace de tu experiencia algo maravilloso” dijo Florencia de scouts de Uruguay, Staff Internacional.

The “Leadership Training - Paraguay 2016” (ELPA 2016) was held from 12 to 15 August 2016, in the city of Areguá, Paraguay. It is a project of Messengers of Peace who was born of the need to strengthen the leadership skills of the members of the Scout Association of Paraguay, based on the content developed during the Interamerican Leadership Training 2013, 2014 and 2015. Participants 32 venturers and rovers from 16 to 22 years from Scout groups across the country, who during the four days shared activities teams created within the event.The staff had a imporart role for sucess of the event success. Months before the making the ELPA we had a meeting in our Scout House to clarify ideas and ways of working, knowledge, practice and organization. The staff consisted of former participants of the ILT, who worked on the development and implementation of the program, international guests from Uruguay, Argentina and the United States, Counselors Team, who were selected by an application process and worked closely with the participants and national partners in logistics and support.We are working on five projects Messengers of Peace, which we hope to be performed in throught year. These try to give a solution to cultural and educational problems, with a new, practical and fun way, as all Scouting activities. It is projected to execute the ELPA once a year, to reach more scouts and at the same time to boost more service projects, generating positive impacts on society and strengthening of Messengers of Peace program.“It really was a very enriching experience both instances between the exchange with participants in and out of each session, it seemed like I could give them other support from a different place. The staff had and has a great friendship, working with everyone of of them made me feel the Scouting brotherhood has no borders, just sharing this great lifestyle as Scout makes your experience something wonderful, “said Florence from Scouts of Uruguay, InternationalStaff.

La participación, desarrollo y liderazgo juvenil son temas de suma importancia dentro del marco del escultismo en cualquier país. Son, por así decirlo, las razones mismas del movimiento; la transformación o desarrollo de los jóvenes en buenos ciudadanos. Ciudadanos activos y empoderados con interés y disposición para trabajar por el desarrollo de sus comunidades.

El pasado junio, en nuestro campo escuela nacional Cua-yo, se atendieron a esas mismas razones y el intereses de los jóvenes scouts dominicanos, en continuar formándose como líderes, como ciudadanos que pueden y quieren hacer una diferencia. Del 24 al 25 de junio celebramos el primer taller de liderazgo juvenil, “Domincan Leadership Training” como respuesta a estos intereses juveniles.

Basado en el “International Leadership Training” el El Do-minican Leadership Training, o DLT, es un taller práctico dirigido a jóvenes scouts dominicanos con deseos enrique-cer su formación como líderes y agentes de cambio dentro de sus grupos scouts, comunidades y vida profesional.

En su primera versión en el país, el taller contó con la parti-cipación de 28 jóvenes provenientes de distintos grupos de las regiones del Cibao y Santo Domingo, además de un staff bajo la dirección de la Oficina Scout. El taller desarrolló de manera práctica y dinámica temas como el liderazgo de servicio, la resolución de problemas en los equipos, la gobernanza y empoderamiento y participa-ción juvenil, la planificación de proyectos, entre otros.

Fue, sin duda, un evento marcado por la fraternidad, entu-siasmo y alegría que caracteriza a los scouts del país y que sin duda, verá sus frutos con las acciones de estos nuevos lí-deres. El DLT, en conjunto con los demás programas orien-tados a los jóvenes adultos que ha venido desarrollando la OSN, constituye una iniciativa más donde la participación y la voz de los jóvenes, se hace cada día más fuerte.

Participation, and youth leadership development are important topics within the framework of Scouting in any country. They are, so to speak, the reason itself for the movement; transformation or development of young people into good citizens; active and empowered citizens with the interest and willingness to work for the development of their communities.On June, within the grounds of our national campsite “Cuayo”, these same interests of our youth, to continue their training as leaders and citizens who can and want to make a difference, where attended. From June 24th to 25th, we celebrated our very own first youth leadership workshop, our first “Domincan Leadership Training”.

Based on the “International Leadership Training” the Dominican Leadership Training, or DLT, is a practical workshop for young Dominican scouts who want to enrich their training as leaders and agents of change within their scouts groups, communities and professional life.In its first version in the country, the workshop was attended by 28 young people from different groups of the Northern and Capital region, and a staff under the direction of Dominican Scout Association.

The workshop addressed topics such as servant leadership, problem solving in teams, governance, empowerment and youth participation, project planning, among others.

It was certainly an event marked by fraternity, enthusiasm and the joy that characterizes the scouts in the country and that certainly will pay off with the actions of these new young leaders. The DLT, along with other programs aimed at young adults, that are been implemented by our NSO, became another initiative where the participation and the voice of young people is becoming stronger.

We can’t wait to see what the future becomes with these leaders at the front!

El curso GLT, surge como una tropicalización del Interamerican Leadership Training (ILT), el cual inicialmente fue desarrollado en Houston, Estados Unidos. Uno de sus objetivos es fortalecer a los jóvenes con herramientas sobre liderazgo, conducción de equipos, solución de problemas y con un pensamiento dirigido hacia el liderazgo practico, el cual normalmente en el Grupo Scout, conlleva mucho más tiempo el proceso de aprendizaje.

El curso se convierte, utilizando la metodología scout de “aprender haciendo” en una valiosa herramienta para las asociaciones que lo implementen y en un semillero de futuros líderes que cubrirán los mandos medios y superiores de la organización.La experiencia de Guatemala ha llevado a la realización de 6 cursos, para un total de más de 200 jóvenes de la ASG, quienes no solamente han tenido cambios en su grupo scout sino también en lo personal y profesionales. Una de las características que ha llevado a tener éxito al curso, es el principio del movimiento scout, como decía B.P. “de jóvenes, dirigido por jóvenes” lo anterior enriquece la capacitación y lo llena de mucha juventud, nuevas ideas y mucho dinamismo.

Otra de las características reside en que el staff de cada curso se va renovando con los scouts que en el anterior curso destacan. La Asociación de Scouts de Guatemala ha apoyado a las Asociaciones hermanas de Honduras y el Salvador a la implementación de sus cursos a través de intercambios de líderes scouts que replican y mejoran el curso anterior. Como beneficio directo cada curso permite realizar posteriormente proyectos alrededor de estrategias que fomentan el crecimiento, expansión, actividades de apoyo social y de imagen del movimiento scout en Guatemala.

The GLT course emerged as a localization of the Interamerican Leadership Training (ILT), which was initially developed in Houston, United States. One of its aims is to strengthen young people with tools on leadership, team leadership, problem solving and focused towards practical leadership, which usually takes a lot more time to learn in the Scout Group.

The course, using the scout methodology of “learning by doing”, turned into a valuable tool for associations that implemented it and a pool of future leaders who will cover the middle and upper management of the organization.Guatemala’s experience has led to the completion of 6 courses, for a total of more than 200 young people from the NSO, who have not only experienced changes in their scout group but also in their personal and professional life. One feature that has led to the success of the course, is the same as at the beginning of the scout movement, as B.P. said “for youth, by youth”. This enriched the training and filled it with a lot of youth, new ideas and a lot of dynamism.

Another feature is that the staff of each course is renewed with the scouts that stand out during the previous year. The Scout Association of Guatemala has supported the association of Honduras and El Salvador with the implementation of their courses through the exchange of scout leaders who replicate and improve the previous year. El GLT me cambio la vida, tan simple como eso. Me dio la oportunidad de empoderarme de mis habilidades, de conocer mis limitaciones para poder superarlas, de crear un mundo mejor por medio de jóvenes que están dispuestos a liderar el cambio. Quizá se escuche como un simple curso pero, en definitiva no lo es. Es imposible describir cuánto ha cambiado mi vida desde que fui participante en GLT el año pasado pero, puedo intentarlo. Hace más de un año que tuve la oportunidad de recibir uno de los cursos más

completos e inspiradores del mundo, fue allí donde me di cuenta que no importa el sueño o la meta porque con determinación y empeño todo se logra, fue allí donde me di cuenta

que los jóvenes somos el futuro del mundo y tenemos que empezar a ser buscar un cambio.

Después de mi participación mi interés por el movimiento aumento, mis habilidades como líder crecieron y tuve la oportunidad de ser staff en el siguiente GLT.

GLT changed my life, as simple as that. I got the opportunity to enhance my skills, to know my limitations in order to overcome them, to create a better world through the youth who are willing to lead the change. Maybe it sounds like a simple course, but it definitely is not. It is impossible to describe how much my life has changed since I participated at the GLT last year, but I will try. Over a year ago I had the opportunity to receive one of the most complete and inspiring courses in the world, it was then that I realized that no matter the dream or goal I possess, with determination and commitment I can achieve all. It was there that I found out that we, the young people, are the future of the world and we need to start looking for and become the change. After my participation, my interest in Scouting

El GLT ha generado grandes cosas en mi vida, me ha permitido crecer como persona, tanto en lo personal, como en la vida Scout, me dio muchas herramientas sobre comunicación, liderazgo y trabajo en equipo que uso en todas mis actividades diarias. Además, me ha abierto muchas puertas, me dio la oportunidad de conocer mucha gente con mis mismos ideales y crear amistades tan fuertes que incluso han traspasado las fronteras de nuestro país. Sin duda el GLT es un programa innovador y con mucho futuro, pues es una verdadera experiencia que cambia vidas, ¡Servir!

GLT has generated great things in my life. It allowed me to grow as a person, both personally and in my Scout life. It gave me many tools, such as communication, leadership and teamwork which I use in my daily activities. In addition, it has opened many doors for me. It gave me the opportunity to meet people with my same ideals and create such strong friendships that even crosses the borders of our country.No doubt the GLT is an innovative and futuristic program, it is a true life-changing experience!

El haber sido invitado a participar en el curso GLT en el año 2014, fue de gran ayuda en mi vida personal y profesional, la calidad de información que recibí durante ese curso le un giro a mi educación superior, ya que opté, producto del curso, por una carrera de administración empresarial. Los conocimientos adquiridos también los he aplicado a mi grupo scout y han permitido el crecimiento del mismo. El curso GLT, recibido en el 2014, me dio un nuevo enfoque en la vida: académicamente y profesionalmente, me ha

Being invited to participate at the GLT course in 2014, was a great help to my personal and professional life. The quality of the information we received during the course has changed my education, since I’ve chosen to study a business management career, after the course. Also, I’ve applied the knowledge that I’ve gained in my own scout group and since then it has grown.The GLT course gave me a new focus in life: both academically and
