Operation Day Break Objective of the

endowment To provide monetary assistance

to meritorious but economically backward students to pursue their high education

One of the Anchor Project of the Club for the past 20 years

More than 100 students have benefited since the commencement of this project

Scholarships of about Rs.40,000 given this year as a continuing support

Corpus has been increased to Rs 7 lakhs from Rs 4.5 lakhs

SkillServ.. Objective of the endowment

To train and enable more and more underprivileged youth to take up some suitable vocation to take them economically forward

Projects Executed Community Health Volunteers Training – in

association with VHS Five Candidates were selected for Training. The

selected candidates underwent Training from 27.09.2010 to 12.01.11 at VHS, Thoraipakkam. They underwent Theoretical and Practical Training. They also undertook Field Visits in nearby Areas.

Following Four Candidates successfully completed the Course.

Computer Training Center, a Matching Grant Project IPDG Olivannan inaugurated

‘Saheli’ a computer training center at National Agro Foundation, Iledu Village on 7-Jan-2011

This is a matching grant project developed at a cost of Rs 5 lakhs

Build a new bathroom for Shivite Middle School, Mint Built and handed over a

new bathroom for school children of Shivite Middle School, Mint on 30-June-2011
