PAST SIMPLE OF REGULAR VERBS Study the examples and use:

TIME EXPRESSIONS

last night / week / month / year = la nit , la setmana, el mes, l'any passat

last Tuesday / May . . . = el dimarts passat, el maig passat

a week / weekend / month / year ago = fa una setmana, un cap de setmana, un mes, un

USE

Amb els verbs regulars totes les persones de les formes verbals del passat acaben

amb –ed. Per tant, és molt important indicar sempre el subjecte de la frase (qui va fer

l'acció) tant si és un substantiu com un pronom.

Exemples:

My brother walked ten kilometres yesterday

El meu germà va caminar deu quilòmetres ahir

She started school in 2000

Ella va començar l'escola l'any 2000

Two days ago we played a tennis match

Fa dos dies vam jugar un partit de tennis
