Vladimir Yakovlevich Dyagilev

1919 – 1982 г. г.

Vladimir Yakovlevich Dyagilev was born оn the 22nd of August 1919 at the station of

Petukhovo.Dyagilev got his first education at our

school.

In his childhood Dyagilev dreamed to

become a doctor. Also he dreamed to

become a writer. Vladimir Yakovlevich succeeded in all. He became a wonderful

surgeon and an outstanding writer.

After finishing the Medical Institute in Novosibirsk he joined the army and was sent to the front of the Great Patriotic War. As a surgeon he rescued

hundreds of people.

Vladimir Dyagilev is an author of many books. He

wrote such stories as «Guardsmen», «Doctor

Golubev», «Soldiers without weapon», «Date with youth» and others.

In his books he told us about doctors and people during the Great Patriotic

War.

Vladimir Dyagilev was awarded with a

medal, an order and honored with the sign

of the Central Committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League,

the Central Council of Trade Unions «Tutor of young people». He was a member of the USSR writers union.

Vladimir Dyagilev died in spring 1982. He was 62. His heart continues to fight in his books. And we

are proud of this man who served his country best. He is the pride of our school graduates.
