城市最佳实践区通过约10万平方米的新建项目，提供将来扩大整个世博园区实施低碳管理模式的范例。The new constructions, with more than 100,000 sqm, within the site will be implemented with Low-carbon design and management concepts.

在城市最佳实践区公共空间约占总面积的30%，其中绿地具有固碳能力，而公共空间可以实施低冲击开发模式，作为整个上海公共空间的低碳发展示范。Overall Carbon Management hierarchy is key demonstration of the project. Greenery Ratio within the site is around 30%, and plantation is selected with carbon sink function as well.
