First on our tour is the region of Fanche-Comté.The regions is divided into 4 different departments: Haute-Saône, Doubs, Territoire de Belfort and Jura.

Jura Mountains

Has many waterfalls, caves, and rivers.

Jura Mountains run along the east of Franche-Comté

Vosges Mountains are located in the north

43% Franche-Comté is covered with forest.

The Jura Mountains are great for skiing, hiking, and cross country skiing.

Home to the worlds largest cross country skiing trail.

People come to Franche-Comté to ski and hike.

Franche-Comté is for the nature lovers, it is a very rural area.

People come to admire its natural beauty of lakes, rivers, streams, mountains, pastures, and caves.
