! ~~ To welcome the new 2011 academic year and its new students, is having a Welcome Party on the Saturday 15th October to share the s warmth with the new UK arrivals while the autumn is slowly upon us. The event is taking place at the Lumen church from 2pm onwards, and this year we will have a programme packed with fun activities such as , , , not to mention the delicious ! Planning for the Welcome party commenced in September with Yu Shan as the overall lead and Wendy as the co-ordination lead. There have also been several discussions with the to review the proposed programme and to seek direction on key decisions.

Plus, this year, there is a new , where many of you have already been involved in. The goal of this is to have a continuous daily prayer session for the Welcome party until the party day itself. If you would like to join in, please pray with us, for God to prepare the hearts of new students and for His wisdom to everyone who is involved in delivering the event. So, over the next few days, the will be publishing the Welcome party programme and be reaching out to seek helpers for the day. Your support and contribution is very much appreciated! See you on the Welcome party day!
