1. Reminded ourselves of the week that was.

2. Looked at the 10 commandments in the context of buying and

selling:

1. I am the Lord your God – Need for significance.

2. You shall not make yourselves graven images – Need for

authority.

3. You shall not mention the name of the Lord in vain – Need

for honour.

4. Observe the Sabbath – need for rest / peace of mind.

5. Honor your father and mother – need for security.

6. You shall not murder – need for love and acceptance.

7. You shall not commit adultery – need for preference.

8. You shall not steal – need to acquire.

9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour –

need to be understood and understand correctly.

10.You shall not covet – need for contentment.
