I must admit that I’m not interested in and don’t like biology even though it is very helpful and important. In order to enter college, I have to choose it as my elective subject.

According to my opinion, biology is not only difficult but also terrible. Only by doing a lot of homework and being busy with biology day and night can I manage to get high mark in the biology examination in the end. But I am excited that I come to develop a good sense of enjoying biology.

I must confess that I don’t show great interest in, and even care nothing for biology even though it is of great help and significance. For the purpose of having easy access to college, I have to choose it as my elective subject.

Based on my personal idea, biology is not only challenging but also terrible. Only by doing endless homework and being occupied with (burying myself into) biology day and night can I manage to get high mark in the biology examination eventually. In January 2008, a blizzard, lasting twenty days,

hit the southern part of China. The snow storm

• I am a high school student,frequently quarrelling with my mother over whether to watch Tv or not. My mother argues that watching Tv might have an enormous impact on my subjects. What’s worse, the radiation of it is also noxious to my eyes. On her part, I am supposed to do my assignments cautiously instead of killing the time with Tv program.As a senior student, I fully acknowleged the significance of studying hard. However, I don’t deem what she said is correct. It is Tv that offers a sense of relaxation after being occupied by subjects the whole day.

• In addition, obtainging more globle information, I have the capability of enlarging my horizon as well as get knowledge of more information in advance.

• Today, an argument occurred again between my mother and me. Ultimately, we agree that from Monday to Friday, I am away from the Tv set. On weekend, I can watch such favorite Tv progammes as news, arts, sports and science.

• The pollution is remaining a serious problem in China although we have done something to control the pollution. Based on this, making a policy has been taken into consideration by the ministry of Environmental protection.

• Pursuing a great number of profits, many factories and companies are ignorant of protecting environment. It is not unusual that some factories always release poisonous gases into the air, which make the citizen living near suffer from great pain. Personally speaking, these factories and companies which show no concern to our environment are lack of a sense of responsibility and the awareness of protecting our own home. They should be severely punished by the government for their stupid and selfish actions.

• So important is the environment on the earth that we can’t afford to destroy it. With the economy developing rapidly, we aren’t supposed to sacrifice the environment in hope of achieving the success in the economy. With time passing by, our environment has been destroyed owing to our own profits. For example, with people cutting trees frequently, a large number of co2 were released into the air, resulting in the weather to become warmer, which has an enormous impact on the agriculture.

• In a word, not only should we stimulate the development of economy, but also protect our environment.

• Recently, a survey in our school has been carried out showing that the opinions on happiness vary from person to person. Based on 32% students’ ideas, they believed that the happiest thing is to have a lot of money, being rich, they purchase what they like. While 45% of students think that the meaning of happiness is to have a healthy body, people who’re in good condition are so happy that they can enjoy their clourful lives. Rather than become a rich and healthy person, 23% of students prefer to gain more knowledge, as far as they’re concerned, only by learning more useful knowledge can they lead a better life and have a wonderful future. In his classmates’ eyes, Li Hua is a bright, industrious, easy-going, and helpful person. As the class monitor, he has been doing great jobs in exams and lessons and is always eager to learn about others’opinions. Definitely, Li Hua is a good boy of that kind, who shows good qualities both in studying and in social activities. I can still clearly recall the unforgettable event between us two … We were doing chemical experiments in the lab, while no teachers were on the spot. I was so careless that I turned over the heater, all of a sudden causing the fire burning. Nevertheless, I was too frightened to take actions. But Li Hua, having got a wet towel from somewhere, rapidly let the fire go down with it, which suggests his intelligence and self-collection in urgent cases.. As Li Hua’s friend, I sincerely hope you to admit him. He is a person who can cause no harm but always bring advantages to those around him, and the community he is involved in.

From the points of some classmates’ view, Li Hua is an intelligent, diligent, kind-hearted and responsible student, who always does well in study, works hard, helps others and be responsible for his class work. I can’t agree more with my classmates. Li Hua is so smart that he usually gets the first place, expecially in his English and Math. And he is the most hardworking and kindhearted person I have ever known. As for me, I will never forget his kindness. There was a time when we were playing football in the school playground. I suddenly had my leg broken, which made me felt too painful to move. Li Hua came to me, put me on his back and took me to the hospital next to our school. On the way there, tears appeared in the corner of my eyes, which was not for pain but for being moved. He is a joy to be around for his kindness wherever he is!

Li Hua is just a person who is highly spoken of by his classmates. They all consider him as a smart, hard-working, helpful and easy to co-operate with person. I can’t agree more with Li Hua’s classmates for that is the true person inside Li Hua’s body. I’m happy to have a friend like Li Hua. He is kind to us all. Now, an experience occurs to me. Last year, I suffered from serious illness that I missed a lot of school. He not only helped me with my missed leasons but also gave courage to me by telling stories about people facing difficulties. His stories gave me a hope of a good, bright future. He was so kind that words failed me to thank him. For me, Li Hua is a friend forever. And I really value our friendship.
