覺音論師注釋書略述 —以《中部•注釋書》為例— 莊 國 彬 法鼓佛教研修學院 摘 要 本篇主要是以覺音論師注釋書為研究對象。在了解巴利文獻的角度 上,注釋書的重要性是不可忽略的。傳統認為覺音論師寫了許多的注釋 書,本文主要針對確定為覺音論師所著的四部契經的注釋書,特別以 為例,討論其注解的形式與特色。 文中首先解釋 aṭṭ hakathā 的字義。然後討論注釋書中的古層與新 層。接著對於 O. H. Pind 的文章 Buddhaghosa— His works and scholarly background 中,討論錫蘭語注釋書的問題。說明覺音論師所參考的,除 了錫蘭語注釋書外,應該也有巴利語注釋書。然後就《中部‧注釋書》 的格式,主要從其前言的歸敬偈和最後的跋中,做一簡單的說明。文章 的最後,以幾點說明中部注釋書的注解特色。 關鍵詞:巴利文獻、注釋書、aṭṭ hakathā 、覺音論師、Buddhaghosa 、中 部、Majjhima Nikāya
