Hello, my name is Millie. I love my new school. It is called Beijing Sunshine Secondary School. It is very big. There are more than 1800 students at my school. I am in Class 1, Grade 7. I like my classroom because I can see the playground. There are two big trees in the playground.

There are lots of nice people in my class. Amy is my best friend. We always have fun. We sit under the trees at lunchtime. We always talk to each other or play games. Sometimes, we buy snacks from the tuck shop. All my friends are really great.

Mrs Tang, our Principal, talks to the whole school at 8.00 a.m. every day in the Assembly Hall. I like going to assembly and seeing all the other students. After assembly, we have lessons. My favourite lessons are Chinese and English. I like Maths, too. I spend about an hour a day doing my homework.

I go to the Reading Club after school every Tuesday and Friday. I also like playing volleyball. Sometimes, we practise after school. Amy is a member of the Swimming Club. She is a very good swimmer! There are lots of things to do at my school.
