Summary
New teaching technologies are developing intensively, including
the area of postgraduate education. New
innovative methods of internal diseases education for medical
interns, aimed at preparation of competitive
specialists, are being actively applied in the department of
therapy. Seminars are one of the effective and efficient
methods of education in the department, according to modern
requirements they are aimed: at stimulation of
medical interns initiative, at active independent study of the
material through modern electronic carriers, at work
with a patient. Knowledge consolidation is realized through
presentations preparation, formation of treatments
algorithms, undertaking role games, clinical cases with analysis
on councils.

Summary
Several main directions are chosen in the process of educating
medical interns in the department of
therapy : first, presence of the own clinical base with
unlimited access to a patient anytime during a day for both
interns and employee of the department (supervising patients,
participation in rounds, councils of physicians, night-
duties in a hospital and so on); secondly, modern material and
technical equipment and application of innovative
education methods (role play and business games, presentations,
interview on actual problems). These methods are
aimed at preparation of competitive specialists of high demand
on the labour market.
