ANOTÁCIA

Racionálne riešenie transformácie stredného školstva predstavuje v

súčasnosti jednu z najdôleţitejších úloh rezortu školstva a zamestnávateľských

organizácií. Poslanie, kompetencie a problémy samotných učiteľov, kvalita

vzdelávania a uplatnenie absolventov sa uţ stali predmetom diskusií a polemík

širokej verejnosti. Stále častejšie sa stretávame so zvyšujúcimi poţiadavkami na

rodičov, ako aj pedagógov, ale najmä konkretizáciou a s presnou formuláciou

spoločenskej objednávky na kvalitu vzdelávania. Čoraz väčší dôraz sa kladie na

vyváţený obsah odbornej a spoločenskej, najmä etickej prípravy, ktorej výsledným

„produktom“ je odborne zdatný, spoločensky aktívny a v praxi uplatniteľný absolvent.

ABSTRACT

The rational solution of transformation of education in the secondary schools,

is currently one of the most important tasks of the resort of education and employers

' organisations. Mission, functions and he problems of the teachers, the quality of

education and the future exploigtation of the graduates have already become the

subject of discussion and controversy among publics. More frequently we meet with

increasing requirements for parents as well as educators, but especially precise

formulation of the social order and on the quality of education. Increasing emphasis

is placed on balanced content of the professional and social - in particular ethical

training, resultiung in „product“ – technically suitable, socially active and, in practice

useable graduate.

The lack of communication skills among technical community of engineers,

computer specialists, and other specialists with a technical background is notorious.

Engineering education often focus on teaching and training hard facts. Hard facts are

relatively easy to teach, learn and test. Soft skills are not sufficiently taught neither in

engineering, nor in technical teacher preparation. The fundamentals of how

technicians work and interact and how they can build their soft skills should be

taught, practiced, and evaluated at all levels of pre-graduate technical study.

The article thesis deals with the as a tool for self-assessment of higher

In the article the authors are trying to show the possibilities of teaching

methods using drama teaching techniques. Role-playing and dramatization have very

big educational potential because they can help cultivate and complexly develop the

overall personality of a pupil and encourage his activity during his learning process.

Authors are also presenting the results of a survey where pupils gave their opinions

on a learning process that included drama elements. Application of these methods is

very rarely used in schools in Slovakia. It is mostly used in teaching foreign

languages and subjects with educational character. Our aim was to show the

possibilities of using drama elements also in subjects of natural science.

The following contribution is based on the requirements of school quality

management to meet the needs of its partners. Every school provides educational

services for their pupils. In order to provide satisfactory services, a mutual

communication between school employees and pupils is essential. Such a

communication allows fulfilment of the requirements of these partners. In addition,

activities need to be coordinated in such a way, that they are targeted on a clear aim.

Accomplishing such an aim is also notably supported by a positive climate in a school

environment as well as by its look. This contribution explores the visions of pupils in

SR regarding colour and lighting solution of educational spaces in schools of 3rd

level type. A suitable combination of colours can make the stay of pupils and school

employees in their work environment more pleasant. The obtained results interprets

and states recommendations for school practice.

ABSTRAKT

Příspěvek popisuje kulturu školy jako jeden z významných fenoménŧ, jeţ se

podílí na kvalitě a rozvoji školy, prioritně je řešen vztah kultury a klimatu školy jakoţto

vzájemně se prolínajících jevŧ. Velmi dŧleţitým tématem jsou vztahy mezi učiteli a

ţáky a jejich vliv na kulturu školy. Cílem zde prezentovaného empirického výzkumu

bylo provést komparaci kultury školy z hlediska vztahŧ mezi učiteli a ţáky na

konkrétní střední škole v Uherském Hradišti.

ABSTRACT

This paper describes the school culture as one of the major phenomena,

which contributes to the quality and development of schools, priority is addressed to

the relationship of culture and school climate as interwoven phenomena. Very

important issue is the relation between teachers and pupils and their impact on

school culture. The aim of the empirical research presented here was to compare

school culture in terms of relationship between teachers and pupils at a particular

high school.

ABSTRAKT

The integrated teaching department is equipped with the material didactic

means, which provide the better understanding of the curricula. Sometimes these

means are not transferable or they require the special conditions for operating with

them. In the first part the article shows the possible equipment, advantages and

disadvantages of the integrated didactic working places. In the second part the

authors discuss the questionnaire survey on the use and feelings in the integrated

didactic working places. Up to 97, 2% of respondents said that these workshops are

used at the addressed schools for teaching the vocational subjects. The survey also

shows that this method of teaching makes the teaching more interesting, more

useful, more appropriate and important. These workshops are modernized at schools

and school leadership attaches the great importance to them, because the teaching

in addition is close to the practice and makes the students performed immediately

usable for the practical life.

Paper justifies the importance of the subject “mental hygiene in teachers´

work” in the curriculum of supplementary pedagogical study. Introductory theoretical

knowledge is supported by our research aimed at finding susceptibility to stress of

students of supplementary pedagogical study. The survey showed that half of the

students achieved such a degree of susceptibility to stress, that it is necessary to

begin to deal with it systematically.

The paper responds to the unsatisfactory situation in teaching technical

subjects. The paper draws attention to the design of methodology for the

development of multimedia presentations with elements of e-learning. On the basis of

the proposed methodology, multimedia processing and Flash, PHP and XML

technology, the multimedia educational aid (MEA) is described. This tool was

developed for educational process with emphasis on achieving greater clearness of

abstract concepts included in the thematic unit "Electricity". The purpose was to raise

the pupils' active approach to this issue. The paper also presents partial results

achieved by pilot testing.

classroom. Teacher ́s computer literacy is key for successful control board and thus

Anotácia

Vyuţívanie IT vo vyučovacom procese prináša nielen uľahčenie práce učiteľa,

ale vplýva aj na samotný proces vyučovania. Moţnosti IT v oblasti vyhľadávania

potrebných informácií, moţností rýchlej komunikácie vedú k zmene zauţívaných

postupov. Veľký vplyv na proces vyučovania má aj moţnosť realizácie viacerých

druhov spätnej väzby vrátane veľmi rýchlej priamo na vyučovacích hodinách.

Príspevok je zameraný na vytvorenie moţnej metodiky vysvetľovania novej

látky pri vyuţívaní IT.

Náročné situácie sú súčasťou nášho ţivota. V príspevku sa zaoberáme problematikou

náročných situácií v práci manaţéra. Oblasť manaţmentu je jedným z prostredí, v ktorých

výskyt náročných situácií nie je zriedkavý. Stretnutia manaţéra s náročnými situáciami,

spôsob ich riešenia a rezíduá týchto procesov môţu v podstatnej miere ovplyvniť kvalitu jeho

ţivota. V súčasnosti je čoraz väčšia pozornosť sústredená na otázky vnímania, preţívania

a efektívneho riešenia náročných situácií v manaţmente, ale pozornosti neunikajú ani stavy,

ktoré tieto situácie a ich riešenie vyvolali. Klasifikácie náročných situácií a následná

typologizácia, aţ na zriedkavé výnimky, predpokladajú multidimenzionálny charakter

systematického utrieďovania situácií podľa zadefinovaných kritérií. Vytváranie štruktúry

týchto situácií predpokladá existenciu moţnosti zatriediť konkrétnu náročnú situáciu do

určitej generalizovanej kategórie. Problematiku náročných situácií a ich zvládanie nie je

moţné skúmať a interpretovať izolovane od situačných podmienok, v ktorých sa konkrétna

náročná situácia vyskytuje, a od osobnostných vlastností ľudí, ktorí tieto situácie riešia.

Bliţšie sa zaoberáme osobnostným a rodovým kontextom a situačnými kontextami zvládania

náročných situácií. Ďalej prezentujeme aj informácie a poznatky o vývoji metodiky SSPMPR

– Spôsoby správania v manaţérskej práci, ktorá je vyvíjaná pre potreby zisťovania

a predikcie správania manaţérov pri riešení náročných situácií.

Manaţérska práca je činnosť multifaktorovo podmienená, súvisí so vzdelaním, ţivotnými

a pracovnými skúsenosťami, osobnostnými vlastnosťami, s vhodným výberom správneho

človeka na konkrétnu manaţérsku pozíciu a z rôznych uhlov pohľadu je zrejme moţné

vymenovať aj ďalšie špecifické faktory ovplyvňujúce kvalitu manaţérskej práce. Táto práca je

bezprostredne spätá s riešením náročných situácií. V príspevku sa zaoberáme náročnými

situáciami v manaţérskej práci, ich zvládaním, spôsobmi správania manaţérov v týchto

situáciách. Spôsob, ako manaţéri riešia tieto situácie, ovplyvňuje ich ţivot priamo a zároveň

efektívnosť zvládania náročných situácií má vplyv na chod a efektívnosť celej organizácie,

ktorú títo manaţéri riadia. Samostatná časť príspevku je venovaná problematike stresu

v pracovnom prostredí. Zameriavame sa pritom na stres v povolaní manaţéra a stres

v povolaní učiteľa. V prípade učiteľskej profesie sa často hovorí o poslaní. Nie kaţdý sa

môţe stať učiteľom. V tomto povolaní sa so stresom ťaţko vyrovnáva. Z určitého pohľadu

v učiteľskom povolaní nájdeme činnosti, prvky podobné práci manaţéra. Manaţér aj učiteľ

musí vo svojej práci zvládať veľa náročných situácií, stretáva sa s psychickou záťaţou,

stresom, čo môţe ovplyvniť kvalitu jeho ţivota, zdravie, jeho činnosť, výkonnosť atď.

Teachers of economic subjects must comply with the statutory prerequisites

for their profession, the most important of which are their qualifications. In the paper,

we compare the two possible ways of obtaining the required qualifications – either by

the completion of a study program in teacher education, or by the completion of an

economic study program and a supplementary pedagogical study course. In the latter

case, due to different requirements for the graduates of higher economic education

and secondary school economic education programs, it might often happen that a

university study program in economics does not cover all the areas necessary for

secondary school teachers. Especially in the case of practically oriented economic

subjects, it may therefore be necessary in supplementary pedagogical study to focus

also on the educational contents, and not only on its didactic interpretation.

The importance of creativity in everyday life evokes the need for its formation

in the frame of school education. The aim of teaching becomes the encouraging of

thinking and creative activity of students and providing of more space for their

decisions regarding education. Students should be educated in the field of creativity

because such education belongs to the most essential educational activities which

form the behaviour and knowledge of students by use of special teaching methods.

The choice of the best teaching methods is an important part of the didactic

preparation. The teacher must ensure a such creative atmosphere and the social

relations in the classroom, that enable students to express and develop their creative

skills.

výsledky v tomto směru a nastiňuje další moţnosti takto pojaté inţenýrské

pedagogiky. Vychází také z dosavadních poznatkŧ někdejšího NÚOV Praha a

TTnetu, kde před několika lety došlo k mapování této problematiky.

Including TQM tools in the education process of the professional subject is

one of the modern ways to improve its quality. It is one of the few ways to consider

both aspects (cognitive and non-cognitive) accepting the demands and requirements

of education partners respecting also the school curricula. Implementation of the

tools is carried out through PDCA cycle TQM tool in education process of the

professional subject. Orientation on the partner´s satisfaction is one of the basic

principles of the mentioned quality management. The article deals with practical

introduction and implementation of TQM in the school environment and in the

education process of professional subjects. It shows the results of the experimental

part of the dissertation thesis of the article´s author on “Implementation and

application of quality management for the SPS, SOU” (supervisor Dr.h.c. Doc. Ing.

Abstrakt

Odborným poslaním Zväzu slovenských vedeckotechnických spoločností

(ďalej ZSVTS), ako zdruţenia záujmových odborných vedecko-technických

spoločností a asociácií, je pomoc pri zvyšovaní úrovne vedy a techniky v Slovenskej

republike, rozvíjaní vzdelávania a medzinárodnej spolupráce v oblasti vedy

a techniky, podpore riešenia úloh v rámci štátnej technickej politiky. Aktivity ZSVTS

výrazne dokumentuje mnoţstvo odborných a vzdelávacích podujatí, ktoré členovia

ZSVTS kaţdoročne realizujú, tieţ pôsobenie expertov a ďalších odborníkov ZSVTS

v rôznych komisiách, projektoch a výboroch, v neposlednom rade aj propagácia

nových poznatkov, vyzdvihovanie osobností vedy a techniky a ich tvorivej práce.

Významná je činnosť ZSVTS pri príprave a získavaní euroinţinierov Slovenska.

ZSVTS zastupuje Slovenskú republiku vo významnej inţinierskej federácii – FEANI

(Fédération Européenne d´Associations Nationales d´Ingénieurs), čo označuje

Federáciu európskych národných zväzov inţinierov. Vďaka členstvu v tejto federácii

majú slovenskí technickí inţinieri moţnosť získať v Európe aj v zámorí akceptovaný

certifikát európskeho inţiniera – EUR ING, ktorý potvrdzuje ich vzdelanostné,

profesionálne a etické kvality. Tento fakt prispieva k získaniu primeraného

zamestnania v zahraničných a domácich organizáciách. Tým, ţe náš odborník získa

titul euroinţiniera, sa zaväzuje k neustálemu osobnému vzdelávaniu a zvyšovaniu

svojej profesionality. Väčšina úspešných a prosperujúcich zahraničných firiem vníma

našich euroinţinierov z pohľadu ich profesionálnych a ľudských kvalít, a tieţ z ich

schopností neustále vzdelávania sa. V príspevku sú opísané najdôleţitejšie aktivity

ZSVTS pri príprave a získavaní nových euroinţinierov Slovenskej republiky.

Ţiť tu a teraz... Tento trend sa prenáša do všetkých rovín spoločenského

ţivota. Zmena nazerania na hodnoty má svoj dopad aj na vzdelávanie. Budúcnosť

nám nezaručia ţiadne prepracované plány, koncepcie či vízie. Budúcnosť sme „my“

a náš prístup k budúcnosti. Príspevok poukazuje na potrebu zmeny ponímania školy

z pohľadu potrieb mladej generácie, z pohľadu potrieb ich budúcnosti.

V príspevku prezentujeme alternatívne prístupy intuitívnej pedagogiky. Vnímame ich ako

To live here and now... This is an actual trend which is being transferred into

all levels of social life, including education area. The values perception is being

changed what has impact on education as well. The future is guaranteed by no

elaborated plans, conceptions or visions, because we are the future and our

approach to the future.

The article is referring to a necessary change of school perception in regard to

young generation – its needs and future. We present in the article alternative

approaches of the intuitive pedagogy which are considered to be a possibility to

acquire traditional education values and to change an attitude to ourselves. We

present the real examples of practical cooperation at regional schools where the

connection between school and family is very important for „generating” education.

We consider elements like school, teacher, pupil and family as equal subjects with

one single goal – to raise a good, smart, happy and active human being.

Summary:

Human self-reflection is the capacity of humans to exercise introspection and

the willingness to learn more about their fundamental nature, purpose and

essence. Self-reflection is like looking into a mirror and describing what you see. It is

a way of assessing yourself, your ways of working and how you behave. It is quite

hard and sometimes painful process for every human but absolutely essential for

profession of a teacher and crucial for university teachers. Reflecting helps them to

develop their skills and review their effectiveness, rather than just carry on doing

things as they have always done them. It is about questioning, in a positive way, what

he/she does and why he/she does it and then deciding whether there is a better, or

more efficient, way of doing it in the future. When they learn they can become stuck

in a routine that may not be working effectively. Thinking about their own skills can

help them identify changes they might need to make. The paper deals with

competencies of university teacher, that the teacher acquires and develops them

throughout his/hers career. Competencies are necessary for qualified and

professional performance. The significant part of the paper is devoted to the

competency which exceeds all the others, the self-reflective competence. The

authors of the paper describe evaluation process at the Czech University of Life

Sciences in Prague. Within this process opinions of students and teachers of the

teaching process and implementation of the university teachers´ key competencies

are analysed. The intention of the enquiry was to find if teachers prove competence within

as an excellent capability eventually which of them is difficult to implement.

when planning reclamation and revitalization of sites where open-pit mining of rock

Preliminary valorization of geosites increases the chances of proper

management of the sites that are the most valuable in scientific and educational

terms. The issue in question is crucial for the formation of eco-culture among the

local inhabitants and tourists who flock to see those exceptionally attractive areas.

Předloţená studie je věnována problematice oborové didaktiky předmětŧ

práva a bezpečnosti. Cílem studie je prezentace výsledkŧ výzkumŧ autora v oblasti

pojetí a struktury této mimořádně potřebné vědní disciplíny. V úvodu je uvedeno

zdŧvodnění aktuálnosti a potřebnosti řešené problematiky, definovány

konkretizované cíle studie, obsah studie a moţné vyuţití výsledku v pedagogické

praxi daných oborŧ. Zaměřili jsme se na pojetí didaktiky, zdŧvodnění její

fundovanosti a vědeckosti, interdisciplinaritu a navrhli konkrétní strukturaci této vědní

disciplíny.

ABSTRACT

The presented study is devoted to the professional didactics of legal and

security subjects. The aim of the study is to present author´s results of research in

clear objectives of the study, the content of the study and possible use of the result in

educational practice in given fields. We focused on the concept of didactics,

There is a common need to update VET-teachers‟ qualifications and

competences in the EU. This article deals with entrepreneurial skills development at

Slovak University of Agriculture and briefly describes partial results of ENTANGLE

project (Entrepreneurship Trainers for VET: A Novel Generation Learning approach).

The project has an innovative practical approach to stimulating entrepreneurship

among students in VET institutions by providing their teachers with the tools and

materials to educate inspire and motivate their students to be able to pursue a career

as an entrepreneur. The project aims at reaching the biggest number of VET

teachers possible and start a lively discussion with them on entrepreneurship

teaching and policies in the EU.

We conducted research studies on the differences in cognitive style

preference among students of different fields of study (management, psychology, and

engineering). How people think, obtain and process information defines their

preferences not just in their line of study. These processes and their quality often

affect the students‟ success in various areas of their study and later professional

career. Our previous research indicated differences in cognitive style preference

between students of management and engineering t(145)=2.03, p<0.001 (Simuth,

Sarmany-Schuller, 2010) and according to our results, cognitive style can be such

variable that affects study preferences as well as academic success. Based on this

finding we studied 366 students attending universities in Slovakia. 137 were students

of psychology (116 women and 21 men, age AM = 20.11, SD = 1.2), 115 were

students of engineering (46 women and 69 men, age AM = 31.35, SD = 8.48), and

115 were students of management (62 women and 53 men, age AM = 24.48, SD =

5.08). We used in our research “Cognitive Style Indicator” (CoSI) by Cools and Van

den Broeck published in 2007. CoSI is a three-dimensional model of cognitive style

comprising the knowing, planning, and creating style. Research results show the

differences between individual groups in the preference of cognitive style. The most

significant difference was found in the preference of the planning style, preferred

mostly by students of engineering (AM = 24.52, SD = 5.03, n = 114). Differences in

the preference of this style by students of engineering were significant in comparison

to students of management (t = 6.341, p<0.001) as well as to students of psychology

(t = 3.069, p<0.001). Based on our findings we formulate educational and didactic

recommendations.

Field didactics of economic subjects as a marginal pedagogical scientific

discipline between pedagogical and psychological sciences on the one hand and

economic sciences on the other hand, examines the objectives, content, system and

structure of economic subjects, as well as the particularities of the educational

process in these subjects. Its basic functions are didactic transformation of the

knowledge of economic sciences into the process of economic education and training

as well as didactic interpretation of the educational content in the educational

process in particular economic subjects. Field didactics plays an important role in

teacher training programs curricula. Together with pedagogy and psychology it is one

of the basic compulsory subjects in the curricula of all forms of economic subjects

teachers education.

This paper deals with the teaching of social relations , which we encounter in

the exercise of the profession by police. The author taught in a particular social reality

and to deal with cases of domestic violence , assesses the implementation of

participatory methods in the teaching of police officers . Using participatory method

we can verify the various theoretical, intellectual and practical skills of actors

employment, the level ultimately affects the overall success rate of solving simulated

case.

The paper deals with the use of tablets in education process, with focus on

vocational training teaching. It presents an overview of the current state of creation of

mobile study materials on various mobile platforms. The research part discusses the

current state of the use of tablets in schools and also the readiness of teachers to

designed for vocational subject for carpenter training.

ABSTRACT

The paper is focused on the didactic competences of a lecturer and the

research results on the identification of lecturers´ didactic competences are described

here. The identified didactic competences contain the descriptions of abilities that

enable lecturers to perform their lecturing activity based on their abilities, knowledge,

experience and skills effectively.
