Devore to Speak at Annual Church Service

Lynn Devore lives in Reston,VA where he is active in commu-nity, church activities and theReston Bicycle Club - that swarmof flashy bikes and colorful ridersoften seen on the roads Tuesdayand Thursday evenings. Hequickly learned that being a

neighborhood president mostlymeans mediating every possiblesort of dispute, but thru inertia --or perhaps lunacy -- kept the job

    Lynn Devore

over 20 years. Weekends often find him hiking theBlue Ridge, with many wonderful mountain trails

just an hour away.He still uses his middle name Lynn, though his

Dad, Delven occasionally calls him by his first nameMichael - usually with affection, though it used to bewhen he was in trouble.

He is active in the Sierra Club's Southwest volun-teers section doing parks and trails maintenance innational parks in the desert Four Corners region, usu-ally in the springtime after a damp Virginia winter.Though hiring a lawn service to do spring cleanup, whilst spending many dollars to fly away and do

someone else's has always seemed a bit suspect to hisneighbors. His hobby job is teaching workshops atThe Washington School of Photography, where he is eclipsed in fame by actual AcademyAward winners on staff but still manages to fill someclasses.

Lynn works in cyber security for The UnisysCorporation, doing architectures for large corpo-rate/government systems - for example, one singledevice that lets yan individual enter corporate build-ings worldwide, securely log on to your many corpo-rate accounts with one id, see medical and payroll

records, buy a doughnut in the cafeteria. - or remote-ly access everything from home. Well, except thedoughnut, of course.

He says "See you all back home!"
