We also had a good turnout for Retreat this year! It was a great bonding experience for sisters. In May, sisters will be participating in one of the three walks to benefit three different organizations very close to our heart. There is the NEDA Walk in Syracuse, the Walk MS Rochester benefitting Multiple Sclerosis, and the Great Strides Walk benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It is an amazing opportunity for sisters to interact with the community while giving back to the charities that are so close to home for us. Dates for these walks are: NEDA Syracuse( May 3, 2014), Walk MS Rochester( May 4, 2014), and Great Strides Rochester( May 18, 2014). Also in May the chapter is looking to team up with Women in Business to bring a local DJ from the University of Rochester to campus for a benefit concert where part of DPhiE’s proceeds will go to the house, as a fundraiser and the rest will be donated to ANAD!
