    High performance emulsificationThe Kilia Fine CUT with its sizes of 4000 and6000 is a machine from the newest generationfor finest cutting and emulsifying of meatproducts. Depending on product and process,the normal throughput capacity reaches up to

    4.000, respectively 6.000 kg / h. With easy toprocess material even capacities of 10 to 15tons / h can be reached.

    Machine stainless steel, on wheelsThe special design of the massive stainlesssteel machine offers quiet running and easy

    cleaning. Also maintenance is made easy bythe large fitting apertures. For secure relocatingand positioning, a transport and fixationmechanism is integrated into the machine.

    Hopper 300 ltr. flappable with safety gridFollowing the special KILIA design, the 300 ltr.

    hopper (standard model) excels with its perfectproduct transport. Its flap mechanism allows aneasy cleaning of the cutting head, which liesjust below. Flapping the hopper aside, ofcourse, stops the machine immediately. Thesame is true when opening the special safetygrid, access to the cutting head in rotation, thusis avoided.

    EvacuationThe machine is evacuated through a detachablestandard conveyor tube.

    Novel vertical cutting system

    The novel, contact-free cutting head is positionedvertically and allows an extremely long service life.The special knife construction eliminates thepressure increase between first and second cuttingstep, so that raw material is not damaged and thetemperature increase is very low. With 100 000 cutsper 1 second the system reaches so far unknownresults, while there is no abrasion on the cutting headelements.This allows finest possible cutting of meat and alsothe production of rind emulsion. Stator and rotor ofthe cutting system show slots, which in the standardversion have a gap of 1,2 mm in the first step and 0,4mm in the second. On request the machine can bedelivered with different gap sizes in the cuttingcombination, to reacha coarser or finer structure of the product. The rotor

    knives are sharpened on the front end. Their specialalignment avoids changes in diameter and in gapwidth. The very long service life of the knife systemallows a production of up to 1.500 tons (dependingon product) before the next re-grinding is required.

    Variable drive of the cutting systemA state of the art AC drive with frequency converteravoids electricity peaks and thus reduces the electricitycosts. The large range of speeds up to 3.000 rpm offersa high flexibility for different processes. AC drives offerseveral advantages. They are practically maintenance-

    free, hardly susceptible against fluctuations in currentand well protected against humidity. The starting currentcorresponds to the nominal current and can, if required,even be limited further.

    Automatic stop functionThe automatic cut off function in case of an interruptionof product flow, ensures the protection of the cutting

    system.

    Thermometer with digital displayThe temperature is measured with two separate probes,one measuring the temperature before and one after theproduct has been processed.

    KILIA Program Control with key pad, remote diagnosispossibility and interface for documentation

    The newly developed computer steering shows theimplementation of most modern electronics. With theeasy-to-read operation panel, all machine functions aresteered and all important information is displayed. A

    special advantage is the possibility of remote diagnosisvia secure (encoded) internet connection (broadbandinternet access required). This highly modern system isstandard for all KILIA Fine Cut model. It allows KILIAservice personnel a thorough diagnosis in real timeindependent from their respective whereabouts.Especially important error messages can be sent asSMS automatically from the machine to the KILIA

    Service. Furthermore, it is possible at a later time to fitthe machine with further options (e.g. a connection tofurther processing machines). At the same time theKILIA steering offers an interface for crosslinking to theKILIA Process Visualisation (KPV), an unique systemfor visualising and documenting production data.

    Integrated switch cabinetThe integrated switch cabinet is capsuled inside themachine body, where a ventilation and heating systemavoids condensation.

    Drive capacity 90 / 110 kw; 400 V; 50 HzTogether with the frequency converter, the most modern 90 / 110 kW AC drive from supplier SIEMENS offers enormous power reserves far beyondthe 90 / 110 kW. Thus, the system is suitable even for the most difficult material.

    Optional:

    Electrical brakeThe maintenance-free electrical brake includes a condenser, so that the machine can be stopped even in case of a sudden power break down.

    Automatic central lubrication ADS 100

    The automatic central lubrication offers a continuous supply of grease for all greasing points and leads to a maintenance-free unit with 2 yearsguarantee as standard (max. 3.000 operating hours).

    Hopper 550 ltr. flappable with safety gridAlternative to the 300 litres hopper of the standard model, the machine can also be quipped with a 550 litres hopper.Its flap mechanism allows aneasy cleaning of the cutting head, which lies just below. Flapping the hopper aside, of course, stops the machine immediately. The same is truewhen opening the special safety grid, access to the cutting head in rotation, thus is avoided.
