• A-BDS is one of the most important services of BDS and becoming the promising usage in the future, especially for cell phones and other handheld units.

• China telecom has been working on to provide high performance of BeiDou Services

– Design and implement of A-BDS laboratory system : An A-BDS device may connect to A-BDS server and download positioning information by CDMA radio bearer.

– China Telecom and vendors have been working together to promote the CDMA A-BDS chip integrated, develop the BeiDou navigation applications based on CDMA devices.

• Create a new revision of C.S0022 to support Assisted BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (A-BDS) positioning methodology.

• Update C.S0036-A v1.0 for Position Determination Service for cdma2000 Spread Spectrum Systems C.S0022-B.
