About Garden of Stars and Starry Gallery

Garden of Stars and Starry Gallery will open from 15 November 2015 with exhibitions related

to Avenue of Stars and Hong Kong cinema.

Getting there

Garden of Stars

- The coach lay-by remains at Salisbury Road. Visitors can use the nearby staircase,

escalator or lift via the footbridge.

- Visitors who go by MTR may take the lift next to East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit

P1 (press “Pd”). Alternatively, visitors can use the staircase or the escalator adjacent

to the Tsim Sha Tsui East (Mody Road) Bus Terminus.

Starry Gallery

- Visitors taking MTR can get to East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit J where the Starry

Gallery connects to. Alternatively, visitors can visit the Starry Gallery through the

subway entrance (along Nathan Road) next to The Peninsula (via the SOGO B1/F).

Or, through the subway entrance (along Nathan Road) next to the Sheraton Hotel.

a. Starlight Cinema

– A 63-metre-long, 360-degree illustration inspired by 17 classic scenes and features

43 movie characters.

Movie veteran Law Kar led the overall concept, with Local artist Kylie Chan realised the

design concept through illustration

About Starlight Cinema

The giant illustration was inspired by some of the greatest Hong Kong movies, including

Security Unlimited, 1981《摩登保鑣》, Aces Go Places, 1982《最佳拍檔》, Heart of Dragon,

1985《龍的心》, Rouge, 1988《胭脂扣》, A Better Tomorrow, 1986《英雄本色》, Her Fatal

Ways, 1990《表姐，你好嘢！》, C'est La Vie, Mon Cheri, 1993 《新不了情》, He’s a Women,

She’s a Man, 1994《金枝玉葉》, Summer Snow, 1995《女人四十》, God of Cookery, 1996《食
