    At Chher Nani, Kutch District, the

    Gujarat Mineral Development Corp.

    LTD., an Indian mining company, is

    building a power plant that will

    include two ALSTOM 125 MW circu-

    lating fluidized bed (CFB) boilers. The

    plant will produce clean reliable

    power, which will be sold to the

    Gujarat Central Electricity Board. The

    plant is located at Chher Nani, near

    Bhuj town, in northwest India in the

    state of Gujarat. The lignite will be

    supplied by nearby mines.
