Sofcoast’s  ASAP  XP  -­‐  MAKO  (“MAKO”)  is  an  autonomous  Rucksack  Portable  TacDcal  Aerostat  System  (RPTAS).    MAKO  is  world’s  first  scalable  rucksack  portable  tethered  inflated  aerostat.    MAKO  is  designed  to  be  a  scalable  soluDon  that  is  quickly  deployed  to  elevate  a  wide  range  of  equipment  such  as  communicaDons  repeater's,    Wi-­‐Fi  /  WiMAX  repeaters,  high-­‐resoluDon  imager’s  and  full  moDon  surveillance  cameras  to  extend  ranges  and  capabiliDes.    

Currently  in  Beta  development  MAKO  is  designed  to  meet  the  rapid,  ad-­‐hoc,  and  mobile  tacDcal  informaDon  infrastructure  and  coverage  needs  of  the  individual  frontline  user.    

Sofcoast’s  patented  design  is  a  dramaDc  departure  from  tradiDonal  tethered  inflatable  systems  on  the  market  today  and  delivers  unparalleled  coverage  capabiliDes  that  are  adaptable,  flexible,  lightweight  and  rapidly  deployable.  

Applica1on  MAKO  provides  the  right  plaEorm  for  individual  users  in  tacDcal  environments  with  backpacks  and  boots  on  the  ground  to  deliver  seamless  data,  voice,  high-­‐res  imagery  and  video  informaDon  for  enhanced  situaDonal  awareness  as  well  as  for  deploying  ad-­‐hoc  and  mesh  network  infrastructure  to  link  informaDon  with  personnel.
