That Presentation illustrated how the Browser and Detail Screens work together, forming the Databases within Integrator.

This Demonstration will show the Viewer how those various Databases work together to form the Human Resource Modules…

This Demonstration of the Human Resource Modules assumes the Viewer has seen How Integrator Operates.

The Employee Module starts off with Your Company...

…and so on.


Your Company will be created through the Browse Companies section of the Main Menu, with Details associated as shown…


NOTE: This Data may be as basic as a Name and an Address, unless it is anticipated that the other Data Fields may be needed in subsequent sections of Integrator.

The next level within the Employee Module contains the Posts. (Organisation Positions.)

These Posts will be created through the Browse Posts section of the Human Resource Menu, with Details associated as shown…

NOTE: This Data may be as basic as a Position Name only, unless it is anticipated that the other Data Fields may be needed in subsequent sections of Integrator.

Top Level Posts should be created first, in order that Subordinate Posts may be associated to their Line Manager by the ‘Reports To’ function…

…and so on.

This action enables Integrator to begin to compile the Organisation Chart for the Posts as illustrated…

The next level within the Employee Module contains the Employees themselves.

These Employees will be created through the Browse Employees section of the Human Resource Menu, with Details associated as shown…

NOTE: As with the other Databases, this Data may be kept as simple as required. Data only needs to be input to suit requirements in anticipation of Data Fields being needed in subsequent sections of Integrator.

Notice how the previously created Organisation Positions are selected from the Pick Option…

This action enables Integrator to begin to compile the Organisation Chart for the Employees as illustrated…

Furthermore, the databases for Organisation Positions and Employees will relate their Details back to their own Browser…

…and each Browser will offer not only its Powerful Overview…

…but also the Functionality for Filtering, Analysing, Mail Merging etc.

The following section is related to Integrator’s Training databases.

The Training facility within Integrator’s Human Resource module is structured in three levels…



Modules are the top level of the Training section– they relate to the Subject Matter being taught…(e.g. Driving Tuition for a UK Car Driving License.)

Courses are the intermediate level of the Training section – they relate to the Sessions being offered by Providers to teach the Module…(e.g. Driving Lessons on offer by AA Driving School, BSM, etc.)

Events are the bottom level of the Training section– they relate to the Location and Date of the Teaching Session with the Provider and hold information such as who attended…(e.g. one Lesson by BSM for Sue Fay on 1st May at 1.15pm in Leeds)

By having these three levels, Integrator is able to show who has had Training in a Subject (driving lessons), when and by whom – even if different Providers and Courses are involved.)

Integrator’s section for Training starts off with Training Modules…

Suitability allows the User to associate the Module’s suitability with Organisation Positions.



Training Modules relate to a particular subject matter of Training – this illustration will show an example of a Module… (Hazop Training for Safety Representatives)

General holds details such as Title, Awarding Body, Qualifications and gives access to any Related Training Courses…

Once these have been set, the Filter button limits the view to only those Positions which are relevant to the Module…

Skills/Competencies allows the User to associate the Module’s content with the type of Skills that the Participant will gain from the Module.

…and, as with most of Integrator’s Detail screens, the functions for associating Notes, Documents and Links are available if required…



Once these have been set, the Filter button limits the view to only those Skills/Competencies which are relevant to the Module…

The Categories function is Integrator's means of allowing the User to set up their own bespoke parameters for defining and filtering the associated data…

The next level of Integrator’s Training section contains the Training Courses - these cover the Subject Matter called for by the Module…

When creating this Training Course, the pick object icon enabled the User to associate this Course with the relevant Training Module.



This association enables future analysis – for example, which Training Courses cover that Training Module.

In the same manner, the Company Pick Object icon allowed the User to associate a Training Provider with the Training Course being illustrated here.



This association enables future analysis– in this instance, which Training Providers run a Course that covers this Module.

The remaining Details relate to the Course, including the Venue…

The final level of the Training Section relates to Training Events – these are the scheduled training sessions, during which the Provider covers the Course Subject with the Attendees…

When creating the Training Event, the pick object icon allowed the User to associate the Training Event (being illustrated here) with the relevant Training Course.



This association enables future analysis– in this instance, which Training Events are going to cover, or have covered, the Training Course.

In the same manner, the Schedule Pick Object icon allows the User to set a Course Start and Finish Date using a Planner facility…

…and the Venue Pick Object icon allows the User to set the Location of the Training Event…



Moving on to the Invitees Tab…

…allows the User to associate Employees to the Training Event.

This association enables future analysis– in this instance, which Employees are going to attend this Training Course.

Data is passed up and down through the links inherent within Integrator’s programme…


You have just seen how the Training Modules, Courses and Events are linked – think of them in a 3 Dimensional View…


Earlier you saw how Organisation Positions and Employees are linked…

…in the same manner, think of them in their 3 Dimensional View, with Navigation and Drill Down facilities…

Because links exist throughout Integrator, these Navigation and Drill Down facilities are available between virtually all of its Databases.

… giving the User Navigation Facilities and Drill Down facilities whilst reviewing the Data.

An example of this can be seen by reviewing an Employee’s Record…

…and checking the Data for their Training Records…



Because the Employee was associated with each Training Event (as illustrated earlier), their Data is automatically capable of Navigating to their Training Records.

In the same way, it is possible to Navigate to Related Risk Assessments, Accident Records, etc.

(Don’t forget that the Data is launched as a Browser – you may Navigate from there, for example to the Detail screen of an individual Accident…)

Another example of Navigation within the Training section may be seen by reviewing Training Modules…



It is also possible to see which Employees have attended any of those Training Courses…

…to see which Providers have run Training Courses for it…

…and Navigate to the Details of the Training Event that any of the Employees attended…

Returning to the Employee database and the Data Screen…

Medical Records may be Created, Updated and Reviewed through the Medical link…



…while the remaining screens are self explanatory and enable the system to hold comprehensive records if required.

The first screen is read only, with data drawn from the Employee’s details…

Back to the Data Screen again…

…similar databases exist for Employees Qualifications…

…and Performance Assessments and Disciplinary Records.

…will demonstrate how Resources may be assigned to Employees.


The first Database enables the User to create any form of Memberships, Subscriptions etc that will be associated to Employees.


Selecting the Menu option will launch the Browser for the associated Database…

The final part of this Presentation for the Human Resource Module…

…from where new Records may be added or existing Records may be reviewed or updated.

Examples may be Health Schemes, Share Option Schemes, etc, with details recorded as illustrated.


As with all of Integrator’s Data Fields, a green background represents ‘Controlled Lists’…


Enrolment dates and Renewal dates may be recorded if appropriate.

The first of the Detail screens is designed to be totally flexible and allow Users to create the type of Scheme to suit their requirement.

Users populate ‘Controlled Lists’ to suit their requirements, but may limit and maintain the list in order that its appearance in Browsers keeps Filters, Analysis etc meaningful.

The next Tab, Assignment, allows the User to associate the Scheme to an Employee…

Other options are available from this screen, such as recording Tax Liability details…


This form may prove useful for Accountancy records, particularly when the Resource is an item, such as a Company car.


As with all of Integrator’s Detail Screens, Notes, Photo’s, Documents, etc. may be associated with the Resource.

The User may launch the Picker function to select the Employee that the Scheme is to be associated with…

Returning to the first Tab…

…notice how the Assignment is indicated with a Blue background, indicating that the data is drawn from a linked database.

Notice how other Resources which are associated to the Employee are also shown here…


If required, it is possible to Navigate to any of these Resource details from this location…


This association reflects back into the Benefits Tab of the Employee Database…

ASIDE:

The Company Vehicle database also acts as an excellent means of recording vehicle due dates, such as MOT’s, Service Requirements, Road Tax etc.

Using the functionality of the Browser, Notes, Reminders etc, it can be a valuable asset to a Transport Manager.

Browser Screens and Detail Screens are available for any of the Resources, meaning Reminders, Notes, Photos, Documents, etc. are easily accessed.

In addition, Users benefit from the functionality of Browser Screens for those Resources, in terms of Sorting, Filtering, Analysing, etc.


Summarising Resources, it has been shown how Integrator allows the User to create various types of Resources and then assign them to Employees.
